Listen, dear children, the cursed waters of the Mer Sea, they'll swallow the sailors with secrets. The dark and the cursed and the evil. They never leave a trace, but the ones who are pure and the ones who are innocent, they have all turned mad. They're chased by their nightmares of fangs and seaweed that'll hold you tight and never let you go, and they never go back to the sea. They never go back to the sea.

Nightmares of bone white knives of ivory and mesmerising voices and the cold of the waters, my dear, the awful Mer Sea.

They have all committed crime.
