Erik's POV

Did I just hear her correctly? Did she just Say she loved me? A few minutes ago she was arguing with me to let Raoul go. and now she claims sh loves me. Hmmm...... Women are so confusing. But I will not question her love. I stood and walked up to her and cupped her face in my hands. She Just looked at me and placed her hand the deformed side of my face. I kissed her lips and to my surprise she kissed back.

"Christine!!"

She backed away.

"I'll be back." She said.

I watched her go.

I could hear them up front arguing. And Raoul yelling at her. And she yelled back. Pretty soon it was a screaming match. I knew I had to get out there before someone...I mean Christine got hurt. Why would I care about the well being of the Vicomte? After all I had tried to kill him myself. When I got out there I saw Christine and Raoul squaring off against each other. Raoul pointed at me and yelled.

"Him? You love Him? Ha! You might as well sell your soul to the devil!

"Pardon me Raoul, but at least that devil knows how to fend for himself." Yelled Christine.

"Christine after all we've been through, thats the thanks I get for my concern for you?"

"Raoul you can stick your concern up my butt! I have someone else who cares for me. Much more than you ever will." She looked up at me and smiled.

"Christine what happened to"Say the word and I will follow you." Hmmm Christine? What happened to that?

"True love. Something you apparently haven't experienced."

"Oh but I have Christine. Not with you but with.......you know Lisa don't you?

Christine gasped. "Lisa .....no you couldn't.

"Oh but I already have." I knew I should get involved before it gets ugly....

"Raoul leave before I put that punjab lasso around your neck and squeeze the life out of you. And belive me" I said stepping close to his face. I will enjoy the killing imensely."

Raoul turned and ran into the little boat. And started to row.

"Au revoir Christine, may you have a wonderful life with the Phantom of the Opera while your in hiding." He said wistfully

"And I hope you enjoy your Lisa!" Christine yelled back.
