Long Journey

Christine's POV

The scent of ash and smoke followed me all the way to my dressing room. Once I opened the door even more smoke engulfed me. The room was black with smoke which madecit hard to breathe. I rummanged through drawers and boxes. I took the essensials and my lightest dresses.

Just as I was out the door, I realised that this was the long way. So I stormed back into the room, toward the mirror, then I felt myself trip. I looked down at my feet. Of course I couln't run while I was still wearing heels. I took the heels of then slipped my ballet shoes on. Then stuffed everything in a bag. I opened the mirror and took one look back ans said, "Goodbye Opera, I will miss you dearly." Then I dragged my bag to Erik's lair.

Erik's POV

I dragged my luggage out of my bedroom, And waited for Christine. Thats when I heard the mob.

"Track down this murderer, he must be found."

"Track down this murderer, he must be found."

Damn them. Damn them to Hell if they think they can catch me. I have a horse....I need a carage. Hmmm.....Where would I find one?

"Erik! Erik! Are you ready?"

"Uhmm yes yes dear. But we have a slight problem...'

"Which is...."

"We have all these things with no carrage."

"Not true, I think Raoul had an extra carrage outside just in case something when wrong. Hopefully he forgot it."

"So where is it?"

"I think its outside. Like in the back of the Opera house."

"So what are we waiting for? I'll get Caesar and you get the carrage and meet me out back."

"All right."

Third POV

Erik went to go and get Caesar from where he hid him. He was almost surprised to find the horse calm. He led the horse to the back of the Opera house to meet Christine. While Erik was handling Ceasar, Christine found the carrage out back intact but with no driver.

When Erik finally got Ceasar out, he attached Ceasar to the front of the carrage. He then went back in to get thier luggage and food. When he came back they stocked the carrage with food and luggage. Then they were off.

Christines POV

We have been riding now for about an hour. I had no idea where we were or where we were going. I just wanted to get out of France safe and end up with Erik not in jail.

"Erik, where are we going?"

"We my dear, are going to one of my friends houses. His name is Nadir Khan. He lives just outside the border in Spain."

"Spain Erik! I don't know spanish."

"Don't worry you will learn in no time because I will teach you."

"How far are we from the border?"

"Ah Christine, so full of questions. We are not that far just a few more days we will be safe in Spain."

"Ok Erik whatever you say."

Third POV

The couple took four days intotal to get to Spain. They crossed the border with some hard questions by the police, but they out smarted them. They had some other problems. Like when Ceasar broke his shoe and they had to stop and Erik had to fix it. But all in all, Erik and Christine now have a chance for a new life in Spain. The final question is What is next for Erik and Christine?
