Mal and I found Evie talking to Doug I thought they were cute together, when we got back to the dorm I sorted out Mal's outfit and my own while Evie sorted out all her makeup and there was a lot "okay Mal change into this" I said she went to the bathroom to change "Evie how much make up does one need?" I asked "oh shhh once Mal is done it's your turn" she said "how did you know?" I asked "Serena you picked out your outfit along with Mal's" she answered "what time is he picking you up?" She asked "7" I replied "okay so once Mal leaves it's your turn to get ready" she said Mal opened the door "so date with Carlos then?" She asked "you were listening?" I asked "of course" she replied "and since you help me I'll help you" she added "fine" I replied "how long have you been together now?" Evie asked "3 years" I replied "it feels like yesterday you became friends" Mal added "I know but this will be out first proper date because where was there really good to go on the isle with out parents breathing down our necks?" I asked "true" Mal said we all laughed and continued to get ready. Mal had left and Evie was doing my make up I had on a off the shoulder red jumpsuit with silver shoes, Evie gave me a silver chain necklace and I put on my leather jacket "there you go" she said and she put down the lipstick "look in the mirror" she said I got off my bed and walked over I gasped I looked so different "wow thanks Evie" I said "your welcome" she replied my hair was curled and pined back so it was off my face, Evie had gone with the natural look for my eyes and a pink/red sort of colour for my lips "Carlos will be here in 5 minutes are you nervous?" she asked "a little I mean like I said before this is out first proper date but I'm more excited than anything else" I replied Evie was going to say something else when there was a knock at the door "good luck" she told me I smiled and gave her a hug "thank you Evie" I replied she walked over to the door and opened it and there was Carlos with some flowers "wow Rena you look amazing" he said handing me the flowers which I passed over to Evie "thanks" I replied "you don't look so bad yourself" I added "shall we?" he asked I looked at Evie "will you be okay by yourself?" I asked "yeah of course Mal should be back soon" she replied "okay then lets go" I said. We were out in the forest "are we almost there?" I asked "just a few more steps" Carlos answered he removed his hands from my eyes and I saw a small clearing with fairy lights, and a small picnic.

"Carlos.." I said speechless "I guess that a good thing?" he asked "it's amazing" I answered finally finding the words he took my hand and led me over "I wanted it to be perfect" he said "it is" I replied "do you think we'll pull this off?" I asked "I don't know and I got you something" he said and pulled out a small box he handed it to me "what is it?" I asked "it's a birthday present" he said "can't I keep it till tomorrow?" I asked "no it's from all us and Ben" he said I opened it was a necklace with the infinity sign and the word love in it "it's beautiful" I said he put it around my neck it sat just above the one I was wearing already "thank you" I said and we talked pretty much the whole night and watched the stars, I glanced at him and I was looking up at the sky in this moment everything was perfect I couldn't be happier. I woke up in Carlos' arms we were back at the dorm I must of fallen a sleep I turned to face him he was so cute "stop starring" he said "you look cute when you're sleeping" I said "it's kinda creepy" he replied opening his eyes "happy birthday" he added "thank you" I replied we got up, got ready and got to class, Fairy Godmother was standing next to a laptop "children, excuse me. Um, as you know, uh, this Sunday is family day here at Auradon prep. And because your parents can't be here due to, uh, distance, we've arranged for a special treat" FGM said we all looked at each other, we stood up but didn't really move "I don't see anything, nor do I hear" Maleficent said right in front of the screen she looked kinda scary "kids" FGM called us up, "is it...is it... is..." Maleficent started "press enter" Jafar said mumbling to himself "can I please see a remote?" Maleficent shouted as she's trying to turn on the computer with the remote I tried not to laugh but inside I was dying "is this thing on?" she asked "Ugh, It's broken" she added "Ugh!" Cruella said giving up and she's only watching "I hate electronic equip.." Maleficent start but cut herself off as we must of appeared on the screen "Oh!" they all said in surprise "Evie, It's mommy. Oh! Look how beautiful. Oh, you know what they say, the poison apple doesn't fall far from the tree" EQ said "don't you mean the weeds?" Maleficent asked "Ooh! Who's the old bat?" Cruella asked really? "this is fairy godmother" Mal replied "still doing tricks with eggplants?" Maleficent asked mocking her "I turned a pumpkin into a beautiful carriage" FGM answered "you really couldn't give Cinderella till one A.M.? I mean, really. What, the hamsters had to be back on their little wheels?" Maleficent asked still mocking FGM as the others laughed "they were mice! They were not... they were mice. they were not..." FGM said "thank you so much. Thank you" Mal said "they were mice" FGM whispered "Hi, mom" Mal said "Mal!" Maleficent shouted we all jumped back "I m-m-miss you" Maleficent said stuttering "you children are never far from our thoughts" Jafar added "I got it" Maleficent mumbled "how long must mommy wait to see you?" Maleficent asked her daughter but we all knew "Um, there's a big coronation coming up, I think sometime probably after... that" Mal said "when?" her mum asked "Friday, 10 A.M." Mal answered "you sure I can't see you before that? I don't know what I'll do If I don't get my hands on that magic wan..." Maleficent went to finish her sentence but EQ slapped her head "you... you little nugget that I love so much" she covered it up I looked at FGM to see if she noticed but she had no clue "yes, I completely understand, mother" Mal replied looking at the ground "Carlos, is that a dog?" Cruella asked her son "oh, yes, yes, baby, I do understand. It would make the perfect size for earmuffs" she said talking to her stuffed dog that is attached to her coat "he's the perfect size for a pet" Carlos replied he's actually standing up to her "oh" she said in shock that her son was talking back to her "this dog loves me, and I love him. And FYI, your dog is stuffed! So give it a rest!" he yelled I smiled "what are you smiling at girl" she seethed "I'm smiling at the fact that you cant control your son and that he's standing up to a bully that he calls mom" I snapped walking right up to the camera "oh really? you're just like him you know" she replied "you wouldn't go against your father now would you?" she asked I looked at my dad with fear in my eyes she right I,wouldn't go against him "you're his slave" she spat "stop! he has no control over me here!" I yelled "worthless, pathetic little Serena, your father never wanted you, you're weak" she seethed by that point I couldn't contain my tears but I tried to not let them fall I didn't want them to see me cry "is that true?" I asked him he just looked away "I knew you never wanted me, you only wanted mom you blame me for her death I was only a baby, you're a pathetic excuses for a father, I'm meant to be your daughter, your own flesh and blood but I'm not because I'm a woman and a strong one at that" I cried letting a few tears fall "so much for being strong" Cruella stated I walked closer to the laptop someone grabbed my arm but I pulled it back "listen here you stupid bitch when we come home and we will I'm coming for you" I threatened "Serena enough!" my dad yelled but I didn't move he looked a little surprised "aw re you surprised that I'm no longer scared I've faced my fears its time you start doing the same Hook" I snapped "wow thanks for the birthday surprise" I added "Serena once you're home we leave" he said still trying "no! I'm staying when we get back because you're evil, manipulative and heartless and I'm nothing like you and I will not leave my friends and I wish you were never my dad" I spat "good luck you'll need it in the future" I also added "Oh-ho! Burn!" Jafar said did he really find that funny "Oh! Why don't you go sell a toaster, you two-bit salesman!" Cruella snapped "people who talk to stuffed animals shouldn't throw stones" Jafar replied "Oh, well, people who sell toasters shouldn't use mixed metaphors" Cruella said "enough!" EQ said "Rena?" Carlos asked "I'm fine" I replied grabbing my bag and got to the door when FGM said "I'm so sorry" I let out a breath and walked away.
Carlos P.O.V
I watched Rena walk away I couldn't believe my mom said that it was way out of line and I never said anything which hurt me the most but with Serena she can fight her own battles even if she gets hurt and she handled that amazingly I was really shocked at she stood up to both our parents I mean I'm proud of myself for standing up to her but Rena is the real hero of today. I looked everywhere for her but I couldn't find her I guess she need time to herself I don't blame her, I took dude for a walk through the woods I came to place where I took Rena last night and she was sitting there, dude walked up to her and sat next to her "hey dude" she said and stroked his head I sat at the other side of her she put her head on my shoulder "I'm sorry for not standing up for you" I said "why?" she asked "my mom was out of order she had no right to say any of it" I replied "it's her own opinion" she said I could hear she was about to cry again I just hugged her and she cried "I don't want to go back but we have to" she cried "and I won't let them take you" I whisper. It had been a few hours and we were still sitting in the same place "I wish we could gotten off the island sooner and maybe we wouldn't of been as bad as what we are now" she muttered "maybe but I'm glad we're here now" I replied "me too" she said "people say love is weak but it's pretty amazing but our parents never understood us, we were born evil how did we know what love was they never taught us how to love" she said "I don't think we were evil to begin with" I replied she moved ad looked at me "we should be getting back" she added getting up "okay" I replied standing up too.
