I look around to see where we should go, still holding Meg in my arms. I see Dauntless and a man is pointing a gun at me. My blue clothes made this worse. I should have ditched them.
"I'm on your side. Don't shoot," I said.
"How do I know that for sure?" the man asks.
"I'll prove it. Inject me with truth serum." I hold Megan in my arms, cradling her.
He injects me with truth serum and I answer every question truthfully.
"If you want to be Dauntless, you have to get changed." He smiles at me. "My name's Four."
I smile at him. "I'm Sarah and this Abnegation I'm holding is Megan."
He leads us in.
