A/N: These are a collection of one shots about the heroic deaths of our favorite hero, Perseus Jackson.

As long as We’re Together

Third person P.O.V

The giant battle was raging; Percy and Annabeth who had just escaped from Tartarus were fighting back to back against over 100 Earthborns. Piper and Jason were battling against Ma gasket and her sons, Hazel and Frank, who was currently a dragon, were fighting against Porphyron along with Zeus and Poseidon. Leo and Nico were fighting Acleyonos with Hades. Gaea was simply up on a hill, overlooking the battles.  Suddenly Percy heard a cry of Pain. He looked behind him to see Annabeth lying on the ground with clutching her stomach. He stopped fighting immediately and dropped next to Annabeth. He then quickly created a dome of water around them from the moisture in the air. The Earthborns pummeled the dome but couldn’t break it. Percy crouched next to Annabeth and applied pressure to her wound. No matter how hard he pushed though, he couldn’t stop the blood. He looked into her eyes and saw that they were clouded by pain. “Percy” she said, her voice a hoarse whisper. “It’s too late.” “No” Percy said. “No, there has to be something we can do, Ambrosia, Nectar, Apollo can heal you.” “Percy, it’s too late, we have no Nectar, no Ambrosia, and Apollo is off fighting giants with the rest of the gods.” Percy shook his head “No, no, you’re not going to die, there has to be something I can do.” Annabeth slowly reached her hand up and placed it on Percy’s cheek. “There is something you can do, just stay with me, ok, help me through it.” They both had tears in their eyes now. “Of course” Percy whispered. He shifted Annabeth so that her head was on his lap. He stroked her hair and tried his hardest not to cry, it would only make it harder for her. He could feel her breathing start to slow. “Wise girl, I promised you that we would always be together, I will keep that promise, ok?” “She looked up at him with worry filled eyes “Perseus Jackson don’t you dare do anything stupid, do you understand me?” “I won’t do anything stupid.” “I love you Annie.” “I love you too seaweed brain.” As soon as she finished the sentence her head lolled to the side and she stopped breathing. Percy put his head down and cried. He cried for his Wisegirl, he cried for the life they should’ve had together, being married, having kids, growing old together. He must have sat there for 15 minutes, just crying. He stopped when he the dome of water started to crack from the onslaught of the Earthborn. Percy crouched inside the dome with Annabeth next to him and closed his eyes. He concentrated on the sea, its power, its need to be free. He felt the familiar tug in his gut, he opened his eyes and looked at his dead girlfriend lying peacefully next to him. And he gave into the tug with one great scream. The water dome shattered and all the Earthborns disintegrated just from his power alone. He then summoned a tidal wave of water from what seemed like thin air, he shot it towards Ma gasket, her sons, Acleyonos, and Porphyron. They all turned to dust and were dispersed by the churning water. The rest of the seven, Nico, and the gods watched Percy in awe. The hunters showed up just in time to see Percy turn towards Gaea. Thalia smiled at Percy until she noticed the tears streaming down his face. She scoured the battle field to see the limp body of Annabeth lying on the ground. She sprinted towards her and checked her pulse. Nothing. Tears came to her eyes as she rocked Annabeth, her best and longest friend, back and forth. She looked at Percy who was now battling Gaea, while a green aura of power surrounded him. Everyone was still too shocked to do much more than breathe. Gaea had a worried, even fearful look on her face. Percy stabbed and slashed like a demon, his moves were calculate but also fast and powerful. Gaea could barely keep up. Suddenly Percy stopped, and spoke. “I Perseus Jackson, retriever of the master bolt, and helm of darkness, finder of the Golden Fleece, Holder of the sky, Savior of Artemis, navigator of the Labyrinth and Tartarus, Beholder and relinquisher of the Curse of Achilles , Savior of Olympus, Bane of Kronos, The minotaur, Atlas, Laepatus, Medusa, Antaeus, Phineas, and Polybotes, Sacrifice myself to destroy Gaea.” Poseidon screamed “NO!” but it was too late, the aura around Percy intensified and then exploded. The explosion created a bright light. When it was safe to look again, Gaea was gone and Percy was crumpled on the ground.  Everyone ran forward while Thalia stayed with Annabeth, tears now falling freely down her face. Sobs racked her body as she looked down at her best friend, and thought of what had become of her cousin. Poseidon came over slowly hugging Percy to his chest, he laid him down next to Annabeth, and Thalia lost it. She started to scream and cry at the top her lungs. Jason and Nico both came up behind her and held her. Thalia turned and cried silently into Jason’s chest while Nico stood rubbing circles on Thalias back. Hazel and Piper sat to the side comforting each other. Nico muttered something under his breath and everyone turned to look at him. Thalia sniffled, “what did you say?” Nico took a deep breath, “the last thing I heard Percy say to Annabeth before they fell into Tartarus was, ‘As long as were together’.” Frank looked shocked, and then he said, “An oath to keep with a final breath.” All sobs fell silent while everyone stared at the couple on the ground. Artemis stepped forward and muttered a chant over the two; their bodies disappeared up into the night sky. A new constellation could now be seen.  It was of a couple holding hands; the man had a sword in his other hand, while the women held a dagger. Everyone smiled. “What should we call it?” Hazel asked quietly. “μαζί” Nico said. When Hazel gave him a confused look he said, “It means together.”
