Chapter 13: The Big Question

JOE'S POV

So I have finally decided to ask Jess out tomorrow evening but in a different way to how most people ask out their crush if they are brave enough which hopefully I will still be this brave by tomorrow! After the talk with Zoe, I am thinking about getting everyone to help me out by holding up pictures of me and Jess together and some messages to her as Zoe leads her to me at the end of a candle lit path, all of the group will also be passing her flowers but now Zoe needs to keep her distracted and away from the hotel all day tomorrow so she doesn't suspect anything that is going to happen.

'Zoe can I speak to you quick please' I shouted to Zoe across the group, she heard me gave me a look and I pointed to a spot where would be best for us to both speak so Jess wouldn't hear my plan and why Zoe needed to keep her distracted.   

'Yeah what would you like to speak about then? Is it someone I know and what I mentioned earlier? Zoe questioned me as soon as we stepped to the spot we decided would be best to have this conversation. 'Yes of course its about that, its about my plan to ask her out and I need mainly your help' I stated to my sister, I then explained my plan and how she needs to keep my crush and love of my life distracted the whole day away from the hotel and she decided to take her shopping all day tomorrow and then bring her back by 7pm earliest. 'Thanks Zo, you're the best' I mentioned to Zoe and gave her a hug to show how much I appreciate having a sister like her, I now can't wait till tomorrow even though I will be a bag of nerves. But the bonus of having a sister is that she is going to text round the group and let them know the plan and what they need to do.

JESS POV

I am having an amazing day out today, I can't wait to relax by the pool and hotel tomorrow before we fly back next week as I haven't had a day to myself relaxing at the hotel the whole time we have been here. I quickly glance at my phone and notice I have a text message from Zoe which is very blunt and says that I don't have a choice but she is taking me shopping all day tomorrow and there is defiantly no way that I can get out of not going shopping because she is buying me clothes.

THE NEXT DAY

JESS POV

I woke up earlier than normal because I had a suspicion that Zoe was upto something because even though we do normally have shopping days together she never ever treats me to new clothes that she buys me. But why would there be something happening its not like anyone knows about my crush on Joe and it is not like he even likes me back we are just too good friends for that to happen. I checked all my social media's and tweeted some fans as well as following some on the downlow without announcing a follow spree!! After all of what seemed like ages I moved from my bed and showered to clean myself up, did my make-up curled my hair and then shoved a skater dress on with my sandals. There was a massive knock on the door I grabbed my bag and answered my door to the smiling face of Zoe. Well this is it shopping in the hot sun all day maybe I could change her mind and we could go get nails or something done to relax so we aren't on our feet or in the sun all day. 'Zoe, how about instead of shopping all day, we go and grab some food and then get our nails done as I haven't had mine done in ages' I asked Zoe who I hoped was listening to me.

'Yeah sure, but food then bit of shopping and then nails as then we both get to do what we want and then back to the hotel for around 7pm? I know its a long day but I want to spend the day with a close friend and can't really do that with all the boys can I?' Zoe replied in such a haste, I can tell that she wants me just to get a move on and stop changing the plans that she has arranged so that we can have a good day.

THE SURPRISE TIME

JESS POV

Zoe has finally brought me back to the hotel, I go up to my room to put all my bags down and relax but then I get a message from Zoe, of course, saying to go down to the lobby to meet her like now to finish off what was a good day. I made my way down to the lobby and was greeted by Zoe who then gave me a rose which made me so confused. 'Follow Me' Zoe said as she took my hand and took me outside by the pool to a candle lit path and then told me to follow it. Going down the path, I passed members of the YouTube group and read the messages laughed at some of the pictures they were holding taking each rose until I had a full bouquet and I started to well up as I kind of knew who was going to be stood at the end of the path. I walked round the corner and there he was the guy I have fancied for years and maybe this isn't really happening, but Joe was dressed in a shirt trousers and looked so handsome and I couldn't believe he had done all of this for me, plain old boring me.

As Joe saw me getting closer to him, with tears in my eyes he gave a cheeky/nerves side smile which I find so hot because it is just part of his personality which is the best thing about him. I picked up my pace as I knew what this meant. I looked around and he had decorated one of the umbrellas by the pool with pictures of me and him and some of me and the group. This is the sweetest thing ever.

JOE'S POV

Her she comes, god she is so beautiful with tears in her eyes. As she spots me I do my nerves side smile which I know she likes me doing. She reaches me and she takes in all of the photos I have up put and laughs at some of them and tells me off for some of them. 'Jess, I have loved you ever since Zoe introduced you to me as her closest internet friend, I have watched every single one of your videos since that day, and you are just so beautiful, pretty, funny. I am just so glad that Zoe brought you into my life because I wouldn't have found one of my best friends on the internet which I can laugh with as well as shed a few tears when times get hard!' I begin my speech and looked at Jess straight in the eyes holding one of her hands, tears are falling down her face which makes this moment even more special. I see the group out of the corner of my eye and Zoe is crying and the boys are smiling away, I carry on my speech. 'Being your friend maybe the best friend you ever have, other than Zoe of course, is the best thing that has ever happened to me since I began my own channel and now look at us we have so many memories and I want to make many more but as something else. So Jess...' I got down on one knee, she looks around and panics '.. will you do me the honour of becoming my girlfriend and creating many more memories together as a couple?' I finished my speech and looked up at her. 'Yes, of course' She replied, we hugged and had our first kiss, both crying and to top it all off the group got a picture of it and came over celebrated with us and then we went to bed after a very exciting evening. I can now finally say my crush is officially my girlfriend after loving her for years, I am so glad she feels the same way as me.

A/N: I know that I haven't updated this story in a long time but I have started at a new place away from home but thanks for sticking with it if you have, this is not the end but I really enjoyed this writing this chapter as I was having a fresh look at the story compared to what I was doing before
