Having the infamous prankster Tsurumaru Kuninaga in Y/n's citadel was both a blessing and a curse. The h/c sage had to deal with the crane's constant pranks and mishaps. Y/n was able to tolerate his nonsenses until, Mikazuki was food poisoned by his rice balls and that was the last straw. She decided to make the mischievous toudan taste his own medicine.

"Tsuru." Y/n called out to the toudan who was busy tormenting Mikazuki sweetly.

"Yes? Aruji-sama?" Tsurumaru responded he was wearing his prank glasses.

"Could you accompany me for a walk tonight?" She asked.

Without hesitation, Tsurumaru agreed; "Yes. I would love to aruji-sama!"

"Meet me out here at 10 in the night okay." She replied with a smile.

"Alright." Tsurumaru replied with a smile.

Y/n gave a smile and went back into the inner citadel to help out her other toudans. On the other hand, Tsurumaru was excited about spending time with his beloved aruji.

"Maybe I will be able to confess to aruji-sama about my feelings." Tsurumaru told himself.

= Time skip, 10 at night =

Tsurumaru was waiting for Y/n at the appointed time; there was no sign of the h/c sage. He decided to wait for her not giving up easily. He waited hours by hours still no sign of Y/n. Mikazuki saw him and approached him with news he does not want to hear.

"It's no point waiting for aruji-sama. She is busy fixing our torn clothes." Mikazuki spoke out with a nonchalant tone.

Tsurumaru's heart broke into millions of uncountable pieces as he heard that from the old man's mouth.

"Where is she now?" Tsurumaru asked anxiously.

"Spending time with the tantous since ichigo is out for battle." The old man replied.

After telling him that, Mikazuki went back into the citadel leaving a disappointed and heartbroken Tsurumaru out at the inner gardens.

"Aruji-sama, why?" he whispered out.

= Next morning =

Y/n was making miso soup and grilled mackerel for breakfast with Mitsutada in the kitchen.

"Aruji-sama, I know it's not my place to say this but; it's cruel of you to stood up Tsuru yesterday." Mitsutada spoke out startling the sage.

"Ah!!" She yelped nearly slicing her finger off.

"I know. I know. He took his pranks too far. Mikazuki nearly died." Y/n replied.

Mitsutada knew Y/n still had not got over the prank that Tsurumaru pulled on Mikazuki by putting rat poison in his rice balls.

"I'll go wake up the rest while you finish up." Y/n told him.

"Alright." Mitsutada replied.

Y/n went to wake everyone up; she was ambushed by playful tantous.

"Good morning Aruji-sama!!" The tantous dog plied her.

"Ack. Good morning you guys." She coughed out.

Ookurikara came to check on Y/n, he was not happy at the sight of Y/n being dog piled by the tantous.

"Oi! You guys are making us wait like idiots." Kuri spoke out with a gruff voice.
