It had been eight months since the death of Freya.
The Sundown Lyko pack still had no alpha, but it worked with Scott and Derek's pack a lot.
Derek and Lucy were engaged to be married, finally Derek grew a pair and asked her.
Logan and Stiles were now officially boyfriend and girlfriend, and were sometimes way to disgustingly cute.
Aiden and Lydia were together, and were pretty much a power couple.
Isaac and Jackson were the bachelors of the packs, since everyone else were in relationships.
Scott had been...in a word...distant.
The alpha would disappear at random times during the last eight months, no one knew exactly where too...except stiles that is.
Stiles, being the protective friend he is, followed Scott one day to see where he went.
Scott had been going to where Freya's ashes were. Just like any others of her pack, her body was burned and scattered in a section of the woods, but they put a small tombstone for her.
On it said.
Cassie "Freya" Anderson
Beloved cousin, friend, and alpha
Died as all alphas do, in battle and protecting her pack as well as her friends
Scott was kneeled in front of it, clutching a bouquet of red and purple snapdragon flowers.
Stiles walked a little closer and was able to just barely hear Scott as he spoke.
"I'm so sorry, I'm sorry that I couldn't save you. I never told you how I felt. I liked you, a lot Freya. I loved your smile, and your laugh. How protective you were of your pack. I love you Freya, I just wish it didn't happen this way."
Stiles watched his friend pained, sighing softly.
He had to help his friend, some how, some way.
