It's 10:30 when I look at the screen on my phone. Why can't I sleep anymore? I have been laying here, trying to fall back to sleep since 9:40. I give up on catching anymore sleep, obviously it isn't going to happen. I go to my bathroom, brush my teeth and went downstairs, because it was honestly to early to take a shower or get dress, just because I was up, doesn't mean I was that mental to be that productive.

I go downstairs and into the kitchen trying to find something that will wake me up. I know coffee is the logical answer here, but I absolutely hate coffee. Weird..I know, but I do. It makes me feel all weird inside and sick afterwards, so I have given up on the "trying to love coffee" thing. But I still love that smell. I grab me a bowl and walk to the island, that's sitting in the middle of our kitchen, it had wrought iron stools that stood at it, with bright yellow cushions, and the counter top was covered in a deep green marble.

Pouring Captain Crunch in my bowl, as I was adding milk, Kyle walks in..scrubbing his eyes, he plopped down on the chair to the right, leaving the chair in the middle empty. "Wow...you look hot with that nappy head". Kyle just glared at me, and put his finger in my cereal. "EW, why would you do that?!" Kyle smiled, as he was delighted by my instant reaction, and the frown and look of pure disgust on my face. "You're welcome, don't worry..my hands are clean" he said, and winked at me. I smacked him upside of his head, and my mom walked in....right as I did it.......great.

"Christa! Don't hit your brother!!" Kyle gave her the saddest looking face, and I was sitting there plotting my revenge, that he so much deserved. "He dipped his finger in my cereal mom" Mom just looked at him with a disapproving look, and said "Kyle, that was rude..tell your sister your sorry" Kyles sad face instantly turned into a frown, and a glare towards me..."ugh, I am sorry ChristA" he said making the a in my name sound like "uh". I smiled, that apology hurt him so much, and practically killed him on the inside as it came out, and I knew it. But my revenge was still yet to come.

Kyle got up, and started making himself a bowl of cereal as mom was humming to herself, doing her daily morning routine, making her coffee, talking to us until we had to go off somewhere, and then doing the rest of her study report in her office till lunch, when she had to go down to the docks, and get some more notes on the Great White Sharks, because as her studies has shown it, there has been more and more Great White Sharks, and they're seeming to over populate the entire area of the Sand Cove beach, making it a little more difficult for any surfer or work boats of any sort to come across the waters, without being flipped, and brutally killed. So she has been risking her life, studying and watching, as she takes specimen from them and studies it. From what I hear the study is almost done, and she will turn in her reports and papers that she has written, and the community counsel will then decided and give my mom permission to have her crew capture the great whites, without any harm, and donating the sharks to a shark Colony, where they take care of the sharks, feeding them and attending to their needs, and the tanks are 4,000 width wide, and 20,000 deep, and then from there the care takers will find a better place to put the sharks, as in at aquariums across the globe, or ship the great whites to another ocean, dumping them off, where not only will they be safe, but civilization will also be under control, and better again.

"DUDE, we are out of cereal!!" Kyle was looking in the box and the bag was empty, he was now looking in the cabinets, but all that was in there was oatmeal, and some soup. He turned towards me and said "YOU ATE IT ALL, YOU HEFFER!" "KYLE! That wasn't very nice!" Kyle just glared at me, and made himself toast. Ignoring his cold glares I smiled in defeat because in the end of all of this, I had won...and he was stuck eating toast, take that little bro, Chris 1-Kyle 0.

"Big day today, any excitement???" mom looked at me, sipping on her coffee. I started spinning my cereal around the bowl, after Kyle put his finger in it, I definitely wasn't going to eat it. Plus my nerves were everywhere at that moment to really have an appetite anyways. "Yeah, I am pretty happy about it actually, I think that it will be some what interesting. Just got the first day jitters" Mom smiled, leaning her elbows on the counter "well, it's going to be just fine. And I think that you will find to absolutely love your job. It's a lot of hard work to always be working, but it's always worth it". I smiled, at my moms optimism, if only she knew why I was so nervous...Sam....he is a bit self conceited, but I still get nervous around guys, no matter how terrible they are, because in some way, shape of form, I intend on embarrassing myself. One time I tripped in the cafeteria, and it was spaghetti day..yeah, I had wet noodles in places that wet noodles shouldn't be, and to make matters worse, it was in front of my crush that year....James Hall, he was a huge football major, to make this story short, I wanted to die, and I have avoided him since. And knowing that Sam's my boss, makes it harder. I looked down at my phone and it was already 1:30, I had to be there at 3, and it took ten minutes to get there. "Well speaking of work I've got to run, I've got to go get showered before I go in, but thanks for the pep talk". She smiled, and I walked over kissing her cheek "any time honey.

I ran through the living room and up the stairs to the bathroom. In ten minutes I have done gotten in and out of the shower, blow dried my hair, and now I was picking out an outfit. Why it takes so long for girls take a shower was beyond me.

Another fifteen minutes later, I was looking over my out fit. I had picked a plain light green Tshirt that had a small pocket on the front, , with some rolled up, blue jean capri's, and my white Vans. It wasn't to dressy and it was just perfect to start my first day of slaving around a food shack. And my blonde hair was in a tight high pony tail, that ended a little past the middle of my shoulder blades. The only reason it took fifteen minutes to get read was because I had added mascara and liquid eyeliner to the mix, so my eyes were perfectly winged, and my eyelashes we perfectly luscious and thick. My lips just needed some chap stick and I was ready to go, at this point it was 2:33 and I going to be late for my first day if I didn't leave now. Running down the stairs while applying chap stick, I grabbed my purse and keys and ran to my red 2006 Mustang, yes fancy I know. My grandparents had given it to me for my birthday just this year in January, my grandma had bought it for herself as an Idea to make herself feel younger, but it turned out she hated it, so that's where I came in. Vi and I decided to just keep walking back and forth to school, instead of driving because that was the most exercise that we got throughout those days, because we were so busy with our extra curricular activities, we didn't have time to work out. We usually caught up on that during summer, which Vi isn't here so those plans are probably going to fall through....

I was five minutes away and at a stoplight, when my phone went off with the ringtone *I still get jealous* I smiled, looking at the screen, knowing it was Vi...I miss her so much.

Vi: I hope everything goes well today! Sending all my good luck, to over power your bad, and clumsy like self. :')

Me:......xD Thanks, I really do need that.

Vi: Well you will since you're working with hunkalicious.;)

Me: That is not even a word, nor a saying. Just stop. x_____x

Vi: whatever, x) I've gtg, heading to the beach, but I am calling you tonight!!!! I love you! Have fun, and good luck!
Missing you, xoxoxox

Me: Thank you, and missing you more. Be safe out there.
xoxoxoxox

Closing off the phone, I get beeps behind me, the light was green, and these people weren't happy with me.

My day was starting out great....

Good or bad, optimism was good for anything, and is food for the soul.
