The trust I had for him has been flushed away. He knew what would happen. He knew what they'd do, yet he still did it. I still remember his blue eyes, cold and icy. His smirk sent an unsettling feeling toward me, telling me not to trust him, to run away. I ignored this feeling, mistaking it for excitement. As time passed, I felt positive he wouldn't tell anyone. Maybe he already had; they just held off, laughing at me from afar. Maybe he didn't tell them until that day. Maybe I had the right to trust him. No, no I didn't. He knew they had harassed me before without reason. What made him think they wouldn't this time? It was a week time between me telling him and them showing up at my locker unannounced. Their harsh words were filled with venom for reasons unknown to me. Each time one of the venomous words flew from one of their mouths, it hit my skin, causing blisters, bruises, and cuts to appear. I saw him behind them, doing nothing but staring, his icy eyes piercing into me, making my skin freeze over. The ice was reaching for my heart, taking over my organs, veins, and everything in its path. Once it accomplished its mission, the blisters instantly dissipated. Now the coldness had completely taken over. Their venom didn't hurt anymore, neither did the cuts and bruises. The numbness is settling in but I'm still cold. The darkness is eating away at my vision. The coldness has turned my lips blue, gluing them shut so no breath can leave my body. My vision has left me entirely. The cold took my hearing from me, as well as my sense of feeling. I can't even be scared anymore. The only thing remaining is the memory of those icy blue eyes staring, staring. They're gone, replaced only by coldness all over, plunging me into eternal darkness.
Well hello, beautiful people! It's been a long time, hasn't it? I'm truly sorry about that. And I know some of you are mad at me for deleting my other stories. Trust me, honey, they were disasters. This short story, if you can even call it that, I happen to be very proud of. I have an idea what it's about but I want to know what you guys think happened. Who's the point of view from? What happened to them? Who's the other guy and what did he do? It's all up to you guys! Keep that imagination running and I hope to see you soon with another story!
Xoxo- Hannah
P.S. The title isn't official. I'm playing around with it so don't hate me that it may be horrible right now! I still love you all!
