As I walked down the train I saw many people staring at me. My brothers told me this would happen. Apparently my dad had been a hero when he was younger(as well as a trouble maker, my mum always says), he had beaten an evil man, or something like that. My parents always said it wasn't a big deal and wouldn't tell me or my brothers much. I was starting to get uncomfortable with all the staring and whispering when Hugo poked his head out a few compartments down.

"Where have you been?" He said, exasperated. "Sorry," I reply "I was saying goodbye to my parents." I walk into the compartment and look around to see a young girl sitting in the corner. "Lily, this is Acey Simones, it's her first year too." I shake her hand, after plopping Misty down on an empty seat next to Hugo. "Nice to meet you! Do you have any older siblings?" She smiles at me and replies "Yes, I have an older brother in his fourth year." "Oh, my brother James is in his fourth year!" She nods, and I sit down.

"So, Lil, how was your trip here?" Hugo asks. "It was fine." I reply, "People keep staring at me though." Hugo's brows furrow as he thinks, but before he can say anything, Acey says loudly, "Well of course!" She says, "Your fathers only one of the most famous people in history!" I look at her, confused. My parents never said any of that! They only said he was popular at school! I start to speak back. "Wha-?"

Suddenly someone burst through the door. "There you are! I've been looking all over for you!" The girl is facing away from us, talking to Acey. "Sorry," Acey says, "Hugo invited me to sit with him. By the way," she says, turning to us. "this is my twin sister, Addy."

After introductions all around, Addy sat down across from me and asked the question we were all waiting to discus. "What house do you want to be in?" I was to distracted to even answer. As Acey started talking my mind slipped away, thinking of what she had said. My father? Famous? I guess there had been a few times where random people hand come up to us in the street, just to shake my dads hand. When I asked my father he always said they were just friendly.

"I'm gonna be in Gryffindor." I hear Hugo say, "All the Weasley's are." I keep thinking. If my father was famous, why didn't he tell me? How could I, he's own daughter, not know about this?

"What about you, Lily?" Addy's voice snaps me away from my thoughts. "I'll probably be in Gryffindor, I mean my Grandparents, parents and brothers all are. I think Ravenclaw would be fine too. Just not Slytherin." "Why not?" Asked Addy. Hugo pipes up, "Because all Slytherins are mean or evil!" I nod in agreement. "Really? All Slytherins?" Says Acey, looking skeptical. "There must be one that wasn't all that bad. Or at least there will be eventually."

I was going to tell her that it's impossible because all Slytherins were destined to be evil when I hear a voice outside of our compartment. "Anything from the trolley?"

I get up to go get a snack. Afterward I sit down and start thinking about my father, and what house I'd be in. I didn't stop thinking until the train pulled into the station.
