I walked to the platform and from the distance I could see joey, tall and slim figure and his side swept curls covering his forehead.
I waved at him and he waved back almost instantly.
As I got closer and closer to him, he began to walk closer to me.
"Hi Sophie"he said smiling
"Hia"I said giving him a warm smile
"Lets go"he said and we walked out of the station on to the pavement
The sun was setting and the sky was all shades of reds and blues.
"Lovely evening, isn't it?"he said with his charming British accent
"Yes it is"I said agreeing and appreciating the lovely scene
"So where exactly are we going?"I asked after a long pause
"Hmm I dno, wherever it takes us really"he said shrugging
"Cool"I said and smiled
Joeys a nice boy. Crazy how I met him on the train now were going for a walk.
I thought about the train.. And then that reminded me of something.. The boys back home.
I miss them a lot, actually. I miss their silly acts on the trains back in Melbourne, I can't wait to see them again, but what if..what if they don't want me to hang around with them when I get back?like maybe they got a new girl to do that, or they just don't want to after me leaving and they prefer me not being there?
Whatever happens I've got Tiffany..
"Sophie?"Joey patiently snapped
"Oh-huh?"I asked as he got my attention
"I said do you want to go to the park?" He asked giggling
"Oh!yea sure"I said now back on focus
"So where is this park?"I asked as we turned a corner
"10 minutes away from here"he said as we crossed the road.
We arrived at the big park gates just after we made some small-talk.
I'd never been here..well I didn't get chance to before.
"Wow this is so pretty"I said as we walked down the parks long path
"Isn't it just"he said admiring the surroundings
I heavily breathed in the fresh air and enjoyed the sound of people far away talking and trees rustling together.
I noticed a pond at the end of the park with ducks waddling about. To my right was lots of picnic tables and a playing area.
I looked to my left and saw a skate park..I love skating. Weird huh? A model (ex model) who likes to skate board, now you don't get that everyday.
"Let's walk to the skate park"I said and Joey followed
As we approached the ramps I saw two other boys roaming around on their boards
Me and Joey sat on a bench and had a conversation
"So Sophie, what do you like to do in your free time or hobbies?"Joey asked putting his hands in his pocket
"Well I quit my job yesterday-"I began
"Aw, gutted" Joey said and I nodded in reply
"I was a model but I guess not anymore, huh?" I questioned
He chuckled at me and looked in to my eyes
"Yes you're beautiful, I understand why you're a model"he said smiling. How sweet is he?
