It Just Happened

Chapter 10

Gabby POV

Laura made her entrance back into my apartment at about 8pm, her eyes glazed over and her humming lightly.

"Laura?" Kiersten looked just as confused as I felt, but the ginger just continued, sauntering over to the kitchen and getting a glass of water.

"Lauraaaaaa?" I dragged out her name before I choked as she threw the water into her own face.

"That was REAL." Laura screeched, starting to run around the living room, her face dripping and her smile in place. I couldn't help the loud laughter that escaped my mouth as she belly flopped onto the couch and screamed into a pillow.

"I'm guessing the date went well?" Kiersten smirked, sitting on the ground in front of Laura's face.

"He's wonderful. He's funny. He's adorable. He's just...him." She sighed audibly.

"Are you going to see him again?" I questioned, hoping that another date was already planned.

"I told him that we should all go out shopping tomorrow, and he got really happy," I smiled brightly and we waited with the One Direction CD playing for Asia to come home. It felt like we waited for hours, the CD ran through twice and finally the curly headed teen collapsed through the door. She went to her knees and fell face first.

"Asia?!" All three of us ran to her and she started laughing hysterically.

"What happened?!" Laura caught the giggles listening to Asia lose her mind. All of us were laughing within seconds.

"He brought me to see giraffes." My best friend had finally flipped onto her back so we could hear her clearly.

"Oh god when's the wedding?" I piped up, knowing perfectly well how much Asia loves the long necked creatures. We all helped her to her feet and she pranced over to the couch.

"He's so perfect I want to die," she mumbled and started humming again. Kiersten shoved her lightly.

"Now do you believe he likes you?" Asia's eyes widened with horror nd she shook her head no.

"He probably thinks I'm a weirdo..."
