Maddie's POV
I walked to my dressing room to get my makeup on. It felt strange to be the lead in a Broadway show, but this is my dream. I kept thinking back to my dance teacher telling me that I am a star. I opened the door to see my makeup artist with a bouquet of flowers. "For Madeleine, the best dancer, actress, and singer of our time!" She exclaimed. I ran over to her and hugged her. I quietly told her thank you. Once my makeup artist made sure I looked fantastic she gave me a pep talk. I smiled shyly at her and she gave me a huge grin. I texted my mom and she said she and my father were just getting to their seats. I walked backstage where I was greeted to the brand new cast of Legally Blonde, and they all said good luck while we shared our hugs. This was the premiere show and we had to be perfect.
Two hours later
After we bowed and got our standing ovation to be met with the show director. "There she is Madeleine ,America's it girl." The show director said to me. "Thanks, that means a lot to me."
