Kendall's Pov

Caden gently traces his fingers over the lines, his touch tender and reverent. "These," he says softly, "are a reminder of the journey we've been on together. They're a part of you, Kendall, and I love every inch of you, just the way you are."

Tears prick at the corners of my eyes as I lean into his embrace, feeling a sense of comfort and acceptance wash over me. I find solace and reassurance in Caden's arms, knowing that no matter how I think about my body, he will always see me as beautiful. As I look into his eyes, I can't help but feel grateful for his unwavering love and support, even on the days when I struggle to love myself.

Kendall's Pov

The past month has flown by in a blur of sleepless nights, countless diaper changes, and a whirlwind of emotions. Jayden is already one month old, and every day, I find myself marveling at how much he's grown and changed in such a short time. His tiny fingers curl around mine, and his eyes, now more focused and alert, seem to take in the world with an insatiable curiosity.

"Caden, can you believe he's already a month old?" I ask, my voice filled with wonder as I gaze down at Jayden, who is nestled contentedly in my arms, nursing.

Caden looks up from where he's sitting on the couch, a soft smile playing on his lips as he watches us. "It's amazing, isn't it? It feels like just yesterday we brought him home from the hospital," he says, his eyes reflecting the same awe and love that I feel.

I nod, my heart swelling with emotion as I think about how far we've come in these past weeks. Breastfeeding, which had initially been a source of stress and frustration, has now become one of the most cherished parts of my day. The bond that I feel with Jayden during these quiet moments is indescribable, a deep connection that fills me with a sense of fulfillment and joy.

"He's such a good eater," I remark, gently stroking Jayden's soft hair as he nurses. "I love these moments with him."

Caden stands up and walks over to us, kissing my forehead tenderly before leaning down to kiss Jayden's tiny head. "You two are amazing," he murmurs, his voice filled with pride and love. "You're doing such a great job, Kendall."

I feel a blush creep up my cheeks at his praise, but it's accompanied by a warm glow of gratitude. "Thanks, Caden," I say softly, meeting his gaze. "I couldn't do this without you."

"We're a team," Caden replies, his eyes shining with sincerity. "And I'm so grateful for every moment we get to spend together as a family."

As Jayden finishes nursing and begins to drift off to sleep, I carefully adjust him in my arms, feeling a sense of contentment settle over me. The journey of parenthood has been challenging, but it's also been filled with more love and joy than I ever could have imagined.

Later that evening, after Jayden is tucked into his crib, Caden and I sit together on the couch, reflecting on the past month. "Do you remember how scared we were that first night home?" I ask, a smile tugging at my lips at the memory.

Caden chuckles, shaking his head. "How could I forget? I think we both aged a few years in those first 24 hours," he teases, but a warmth in his eyes speaks to the deep bond we've forged through those early challenges.

"Looking back, it's incredible how much we've learned and grown already," I muse, resting my head on Caden's shoulder. "And how much Jayden has changed."
