Hey guys, so here it is, just typed and everything! I am sorry in advance for typos, I am doing this on my phone.

And I want to clarify something real quick, cause I got a few comments saying this. When I said I was going to force myself to write this chapter, I didn't mean for it to sound like a burden. I love writing, and I love writing this story, and I love writing for you all, I love it. It's just that by the end of the day I feel so out if it, and I just kind of stare at the wall for hours. Because that's totally not a waste of time when I could be writing. I feel like if I convinced myself to write more when I was in those moods, it would be better for me. And I am really proud of myself, that I got this done. And I can't wait to hear from you guys, so please, I hope you understand, and I hope you like this update!

Have you ever gone camping, or on a trip, or maybe just stayed the night somewhere new, and when you woke up, it took a few moments for you to remember where you were?

And have you ever had a really bad headache, the kind you feel right behind your eyes, usually after you had been crying for a while?

Now imagine those combining to one, waking up to an unfamiliar scene, confusion slowly being replaced with dread as memories slowly pour back into your head, along with throbbing, aching pain.

Levi shot up into a sitting position after a few moments of regaining consciousness, looking around at his surroundings. Red and blue flashed without fail against the grey dim of the gloaming, illuminating whatever surface was in range.

People were huddled together throughout the parking lot, scattered cars parked here and there, rarely in an actual parking spot. Some were crying, some were sleeping, talking, eating, drinking.

One particular group caught Levi's interest more than the others. A blonde with a small frame was resting against a slightly bigger girl with dark hair, and a familiar scarf on, rubbing her back.

Facing them- and the car which was almost directly behind them- was another blonde, bigger than the other two- oh, Erwin.

It was in that moment that said blonde noticed the small man sitting up in the back of the car. At that moment they locked eyes, and Levi froze, holding his breath as his heart rate sped up.

Erwin bit his lip, and stole a glance towards the barricade, before darting his gaze back to Levi. But it was only a glance Levi needed before he was darting out of the car. Erwin cursed under his breath and ran towards the barricade as well, leaving a confused Armin and Mikasa behind. It didn't take long, though, before they realized what was going on and followed after the two men.

As Levi neared the barricade, the police raised their nightsticks, easily recognizing the fiery man. Just when he was close enough to realize the situation and regret blindly running into it, Erwin was between the two unstoppable forces.

Levi cursed, twisting and squirming in Erwin's grasp. He had managed to break free, and turned to move away, which ultimately dropped his defenses enough so that Erwin was able to wrap his arms around the other tightly from behind, holding him closely and firmly.

When Mikasa and Armin had caught up to the struggle, they stood between the two and the barricade, Armin turning and apologizing profusely to the police, while Mikasa stared at the two with her brow furrowed.

Despite his being securely confined with limited movement, Levi still fought with all of his being.

Erwin wasn't even trying to console or calm him, as he knew it wouldn't help. He simply held his friend, stood with his friend, as he always had before. Levi would later realize this, despite everything else going on, and appreciate it.
