"What are you looking at?! Losers!" Jimi sneers as he walks into school the next day.

Maddy, Rhydian, Tom and Shannon all follow after him - silently laughing to themselves. Jimi looks around as other students begin laughing at him.

He turns the corner and notices posters hung up on the windows again, he walks over to them wondering what it could be this time.

Liam and Sam walk behind him, slowing down as they look closer at the poster.

"Cry Babies Of The Moors?!" Jimi reads out as they look at the photo of them all terrified from when Maddy had jumped out at them, "I didn't cry!"

"Sam did." Liam looks to Sam.

"Did not! Jimi did!" Sam remarks as Jimi scrunches up the poster and throws it on the floor. Maddy, Shannon, Tom and Rhydian all share smirks as they watch the three boys walk off.

Maddy fixes up a picture of herself in the middle of a display board which has photos of members in her family. She looks around at everyones work in the school hall for the schools 'Twenty-First Century Family Art Show'.

"And we're going to the Man-U game!" Tom exclaims as he hangs up a picture of him holding a football trophy with his dad onto his display.

"He's not on call or anything then?" Maddy asks, unsure if Tom's dad would let him down or not.

"Nah, he promised to make it this time. No emergencies, no distractions, just me and my dad." Tom replies, smiling at the picture.

Maddy smiles slightly and nods as they both turn to watch Rhydian walk into the hall, wondering what his work would be.

"Let's see your drawing Rhydian!" Kay walks over to Rhydian as he pins up a piece of paper onto his almost-bare display.

"Yeah, I bet it's brilliant!" Kara smiles as she follows over.

Rhydian turns around to face them, smiling as he shows off his work; a drawing of a young boy alone in a dark corner as he watches his parents leave him in the dark.

Kay looks at the picture in disgust, "What's that got to do with family?! That's just spooky!"

"And weird..." Kara adds in.

Rhydian turns to his picture and turns it round in frustration as he begins defacing his work. He angrily draws a rough smiley sun and a small house with three smiley stickmen. "Is that normal enough for you?!" He barges past the girls, leaving the hall in anger.

"You're not actually gonna listen to them, are ya?!" Maddy asks as she pulls back on Rhydian's sleeve.

"Why not?! You do," Rhydian looks over and nods at Maddy's display, "Pretending to be something you're not. You're just like them; pretty and fake!"

Maddy exhales deeply as she watches Rhydian leave the hall.

"The question 'What does family mean in the Twenty-First Century?' is something that we've been exploring across different subject areas this term." The teacher calls out from the stage at the Family Art Show, "We are very proud of our students work and I'm sure that you will be too." She smiles as the audience all applause and everyone begins looking around the displays.

"Shine the light to reveal what made me who I am..." Shannon reads out as she approaches Kara's display.

"It's ultraviolet!" Kara grins as she stands by her display board and passes Shannon the light. Shannon takes the light and shins it over the display, unveiling a picture of Kara with her parents.
