I'm Not That Same Jealous Girl: Chapter 12 - Get Out Of Here Right Now

Misaki

Misaki sighed. The Vice President requested another meeting with Narukami company. She doesn't want to see Toshiki right now due to the fact that he knows about her relationship with Leon.

She entered the elevator and Toshiki was there. There.was an awkward silence.

3rd floor, and suddenly the power went off.

"Nani?!"
They shouted.

Toshiki banged on the door really hard, but there was no response.

Misaki tried to help, but it was no use.

Soon, they realized that their efforts are useless. Toshiki leaned on the wall while sighing. Misaki tried to call someone but there was no signal. Then she spoke.

"Kai, I know that you know that I'm with Leon. I'm sorry for lying."

She admitted.

"As if I'm affected."

Misaki looked into his eyes.

"You're affected. You know Kai, I'm still the Misaki you knew. Your best friend, the one you treated as a sibling. And I can remember that. So, I'm sorry?"

Toshiki's head shot up.

"Misaki, This is the last time that I'll say this. Decline, and I would stop bugging you. Can we start again?"

This time, she did not decline.

"Tokura Misaki."

"Kai Toshiki."

"Friends?"

"Friends."

They did a friendly handshake.

"Yes! There is a signal!"
Misaki said with happiness when there is a signal.

"Genesis Company, how may I help you?"

Her personal assistant answered.

"Mary, this is your boss Misaki. Call the electrical engineer. We're trapped inside the elevator."

"Right away Ma'am Misaki."
She said and hung up.

Misaki clutched her chest.

"Toshiki, are you alright?"

"Y-Yeah."

"Oxygen is running out."

Her asthma is acting up again.

"W-Wait. You're asthmatic? How come you didn't say that be-before?"

He managed to say. But Misaki didn't reply. She leaned on the other side while standing and clutching her chest.

As she was about to lose hope (Misaki alone because Toshiki Fainted due to Fatigue), the door opened showing Aichi and her personal assistant.

"A-Aichi?"

"I'm an Electric Engineer, remember that. And I guess your asthma is acting up again?"

He said while assisting Misaki.

"Y-Yes but, h-he is worse. He f-fainted."

She looked behind causing Aichi to do the same.

"Kai-kun?"

Mary helped Toshiki.

"Why is it that there was no notice about this?"
Aichi asked.

"I'm sorry, but I wasn't told about it too."

"Next time, put a sign to avoid incidents like this."

"Yes Miss."

Her assistant told her.

"Aichi, can you bring him to the clinic?"

"I was about to."

"You need to take your medicines once again."

"Okay doctor. Thanks."
Misaki replied as the doctor gave her the prescription.

Koutei

"Misaki didn't notice that her doctor is me."
He told Yuri through a call.
"Really? What is her sickness?"

Yuri asked with concern.

"Asthma. And I told her to rest. If you have vacant time, could you watch over her?"

"No need to say, Koutei. No need."

"Okay bye Babe."

"Bye. Be safe."

Yuri said as she hung up.
