I'm Not That Same Jealous Girl: Chapter 15 - Attempted Kiss

Time goes fast, it's Wednesday. 9 AM in the morning.

He has nothing to do since it's a holiday.

He called Misaki's Office Number.

"Genesis Company, How May I Help You?"

It was not Misaki.

"Is your boss there?"

"I'm Sorry sir, but Ma'am Tokura is not yet around."

"Alright." He hung up.

Where the hell are you Misaki?

He sighed in frustration.

He called Misaki.

"Misa-"

"Where the hell are you?!"

"Le-"

"Alright I'm going out!"

"Leon-"

He hung up.

Misaki

"Leon-"

Misaki was cut off.

She sighed.

She took out her sling bag and went to the park.

The weather seems nice.

She said to herself as she sat on a park bench.

She took out her expandable folder and started reading the reports and complaints.

"Is something wrong?"

Someone spoke and sat beside her.

She stared at him.

"N-Not really."

She stammered.

"I know that there's something bothering you. What's wrong? Tell me. Ju-"

Toshiki stopped. He almost said 'Just Like you always do before.'

"N-Nothing."

"I know you well, Misa." He used her old Nickname.

"K-Kai..." She whispered sadly.

"Leon fought with me again."

"Again?"

She sighed.

"Back then, in College, remember when you thought that we weren't fighting?"

Flashback

"Misaki?"

"Y-yes?" The lilac-haired girl replied to the brunette while sniffing.

"Why are you crying? Is it Leon?"

The brunette sat beside her.

"Ye- no, not really."

"Tell me."

"W-We just had an arguement." Younger Kai sighed.

"I bet you hate me now due to what happened before. Why would you hate Leon? He is the opposite of me. You never fought."

"Actually, that time, I only hid my emotions."

He saw a sign of hesitation. Misaki was hesitating to tell him.

He sighed.

"Misaki, can we just forget the past? Like before."

"Why? Why, Kai? You were so cold to me. Now you're caring. It's-It's making me confused!"

"Because..." He stopped.

"....I still love you Misaki."
He said whole heartedly.

Misaki was shocked and tried to stand up. Tried.
But Toshiki pulled her arm.

"Wha-?"
Misaki was cut off by a pair of lips colliding with hers.

She stared at him with wide eyes.
