The whole car ride Niall wouldn't stop asking me what had happened. I know he was only worried but all I wanted was to get home, take a shower, and sleep this day off. All I could think to myself was that tomorrow would be a new day, a better day, and that I shouldn't sit and dwell on what could have happened. As I tried to get my mind away from that topic I started to think about Harry. I don't know how I should feel about him. Tonight was the first time I met him and now I pretty much owe my life to him. I still couldn't help but feel scared of him. I mean he did just maul a guy. Not that I feel bad about that, it's just a little scary.

Or a lot scary.

I woke up the next morning not even remembering how I got in my bed. At least I slept well considering the circumstances. As I got out of bed and went down the stairs I was hit with the pleasant aroma of FOOD! Niall being the sweetheart he is, had gotten up extra early (which he rarely does) and made me breakfast.

"Niall! Whats all this?" I questioned looking at the plate full of delicious breakfast.

"Well I decided I'd butter you up so you can tell me what happened last night," he said with a grin.

"Well it's working," I replied smiling back at him.

As we ate I sort of reluctantly told him what had happened. I didn't want him getting mad or upset or anything. I also may or may not have skipped a few details.

Wow that's an understatement.

I might have actually just told him that this guy kept bugging me to dance but Harry told him off. Same plot right? OK I guess not but seriously I don't want my best guy friend knowing that kind of things. He didn't seem too worried about it so he went on to the next topic he wanted to talk about.

"So we start work tomorrow," he said indifferently

"Yea, joy!" I said sarcastically.

I mean honestly who wants to work their first week off during Summer? We only got Thursday - Sunday because luckily school got out Wednesday. If that wasn't the case we would have only had the weekend. I mean we have to help pay for this apartment, car payments and groceries somehow.

That was really my only regret when moving here to London. It would put a lot more expenses on my mother who, is a single-mother, and who is getting older and deserves her retirement. I guess I don't mind having this job just as long as I can help my mother.

"It's an antique shop isn't it?" Niall asked jerking me out of my thoughts again.

"Yea it's small but has good customers. Plus it will be just you, me, and the owner. At least it's not like a huge supermarket with tons of customers."

"The only draw back is I don't think many girls our age shop there," he said while pretend pouting his lip.

"Niall Horan, you are definitely a guy!" At that we both laughed and finished eating our breakfast in peace.

The next day my alarm went off at six thirty. I know it was pretty early but I like to take my time getting ready in the morning so I don't feel rushed and plus I don't mind the mornings. Today was the first day of work and I was pretty anxious. We had to be there at eight and our shift ended at three. I only hope it won't be too much work because honestly, I'm a pretty lazy person.

When we walked into the shop at eight o'clock sharp we were greeted by a woman in her forties who looked happy to see us. Hey, I thought to myself, at least we won't have to worry about a grumpy boss.

As she gave us a tour of the shop she also gave us the run down of how things go around here. I would be manning the register while Niall helped the customers find what they needed and help stock the shelves. Of course since this was an antiques shop, that wasn't needed as much. When we finally made it to the back of the shop the first thing we saw when we entered the room was a naked lady.

Yea not that kind of naked lady

It was a statue in all it's marbled, nakedness . When me and Niall saw it however we started busting out laughing because of the conversation yesterday morning. I really hope the manager doesn't think we're immature teenagers now, because I really need this job. Luckily she was cool about it.

"Yes, I know very funny. Even funnier however this is your first job Niall! I need you to move this statue up to the front and mind, It's pretty heavy. So let's see how you cope." She then smiled and boy did she have a pretty smile. I think I now know why everyone liked this shop, the manager was pretty freaking awesome!

One of the best jobs I ever had. That's all I could say about today. I have never been so entertained and laughed so hard in a long time.  I was actually looking forward to working here this Summer. And plus it paid well.

The drive home was mostly Niall and I talking about all the customers and our manager. I thought nothing could ruin this day. That was until I saw who was at our door.
