"What do you mean you're going on a date?" Niall asked as I was trying to get ready in my bathroom.
"It means I'm going on a date so it's none of your business."
"Yea it is my business! What if this guy isn't good enough for you? What if he hur..." I interrupted him before he could continue.
"Niall just stop OK? You and I both know the guy and I know he would never hurt me and he is more than good enough for me."
"Alright but if he does anything to you I'll kill him," He said while smiling at me. "Brothers have to protect little sisters!"
"Yea little by a few months!" I replied joking, "Now get out I have to get ready."

Niall and I sat in the living room waiting for him. I was wearing a turquoise top with black leggings and wedges that made me legs look amazing. I never really wore any makeup - for anything really. With me I could be girly and love clothes one second and be all tomboy the next and hate makeup.
As I finished that thought I heard a knock at the door.
"I'll get it! Niall shouted.
As Niall came in the living room with Harry he had a smile on his face.
"Why didn't you tell me it was Harry? You little sneak!" He said while poking my stomach as I got up off the couch.
Harry had brought blue flowers.
"Harry! Blue is my favorite how did you know?" I asked.
"Oh I just kind of guessed," he said while smiling sheepishly. "Uh shall we go?"
"Yea just let me put these in water."
After putting the flowers in the water we walked towards his car and as I was about to get in on the side Harry was holding the door open for me when I heard Niall yell, "Use protection!" Wow what a tease.
"So where are we going?" I asked as we were driving down the road.
"Um it's a little bakery near a park that I thought would be nice to eat at."
"Opened this late?" I asked
"Not really but don't worry about it."
I was a little puzzled but decided not to ask anything of it. It was a very pretty evening I noticed as I looked out the window. Before I knew it we were there. Harry parked the car in front of a cute little bakery and hopped out of the car. He then opened my door and helped me out like the gentleman he is.
"I didn't get the chance to say how nice you look tonight," he said with a wink that made me go red.
Also out of the car he got out a little picnic basket. As we walked up to the bakery I noticed it looked closed. Were we going to break in here? I started to worry but then Harry pulled out from his pocket keys.
"You own this?" I asked as he was unlocking the door.
"Yea the lads and I take turns working here just to get out of the house some."
"So you like to bake?" I asked as we walked in the delicious smelling bakery.
"Yea I have since I was little. I also worked at one back home in Cheshire but it was just for money purposes," He said while he turned on the light switch.
It was a cute little shop with little tables near the windows and cute little displays. Don't even get me started on all the delectable looking cakes and cookies. While I was looking at all the cakes I heard music come on. I hadn't noticed Harry had went in the back.
"Just a little music to listen to. Is that alright?"
"Of course, yea," I replied smiling. "I like your taste."
We then made our way to the tables near the window and Harry got the food out of the little basket.
"I didn't think you wanted to eat just cake and cookies so I made some sandwiches too," he said while taking four sandwiches out and setting them on the table.
I smiled at how cute and thoughtful he was. For the next ten minutes we ate in somewhat awkward silence. I wasn't one to really break these silences but I tried my best.
I blurted out, "That night we first met, why did you save me?"
At that he looked up at me and sighed, "Well when I first saw you," he was talking very slowly as if trying to say it right, "my heart stopped and I thought that you were absolutely gorgeous. I couldn't stop looking at you all night. That's when I noticed that I couldn't find you anymore. I guess I just had this gut feeling you know?"
I nodded and coudn't help the blush creeping up to my cheeks. He had just called me gorgeous.
"And so I went looking for you and when I saw the bedroom light on I just sort of knew you were in there. I don't really know how to explain this and it will sound really cheesy.."
"I like cheese," I said trying to lighten the mood.
He smiled at this and continued, "Well then you'll love this - it was like some magnetic force was just pulling me towards you. And then I saw what was going on and I acted."
"How did you learn how to fight like that?" I asked intrigued in our conversation.
"I kinda learned on my own. I thought it would come in handy."
"It did," I said smiling again. By then we had finished eating the sandwiches and I was definitely ready for some baked goods.
Wow that sounded wrong.
"Do you want anything from the shop?" Harry asked knowing I was looking over there.
"Sure, if it's alright?" I asked a little embarrassed that he had seen me looking.
"Come on I'll give you a tour." He said holding out his hand for me to take.
After I picked out a cupcake to eat, chocolate on chocolate of course, he took me to the back hand in hand to give me a tour of the kitchens. It was a pretty good date and to my surprise it wasn't over.
"Do you want to go to the park across the street?" He asked.
I said sure and we made our way over there still holding hands.
"Were you scared of me?" Harry asked all of a sudden as we were walking through the park.
How was I going to answer that? I think he already knew the answer so I guess truthfully was the only option.
"Yes." Was all I said
"I understand. But what about now?"
I looked up at him and said, "Of course not. I've come to see that you are one of the most thoughtful guys out there and that you would never hurt me."
He smiled and dropped my hand only to be standing right in front of me.
"I really like you, Emily." Was all he said before he put his hand on my cheek and kissed me softly on the lips. It was a short kiss but the way our lips moved together it was like they were made for each other. This was my first kiss. And it was better than I could have ever expected.
He pulled away and smiled.
"Tonight was fun. Speaking of which, the boys and I are going down to the sea tomorrow. You and Niall can come too if you want. It can be like another date but just not as private."
"I'd love to," was what I said as we walked back towards his car together.
Tonight couldn't have been better.
