"I love you..." I stood there. Silent for a moment. Then I said it quickly.
"I love you too."
He smiled.
"Why such a long pause?"
"It just caught me off guard."
"Oh Okies."
He held my hand.
"Babe I'm tired." I said to him with my eyes half shut.
"Then go to sleep hun."
"Okies. Uh goodnight."
Before I fell asleep I heard him say...
"I love you babygirl."
I fell straight asleep. When I woke up he wasn't there and the nurse was there.
"It's dinner time gurly." I felt like I knew here. I was still very tired so I was still half asleep.
"I'm not hungry right now but thank you."
"Alright sweetie. Just call when you are."
She left the room. Dylan still wasn't there. I was getting worried. He said he would be here for me at all times. He probably just had to use the bathroom. He'd be back soon. I laid there waiting for him. After about 20 minutes I was getting scared. I laid there. I took out my phone and texted Andrea.
S: Hey gurly
A: Where are you!?
S: Hospital...
A:Wtf why are you there!? Which one!?
S: CMC and it's a long story.
A: I'm coming.
S: why?
A: Girl I'm your best friend. I'm coming.
S: alright.
A: Is Dylan there?
S: He was. Idk where he is now though. xD.
A: Okay I'm on my way.
S: Okies thanks gurly.
A: Want anything?
S: Peanut butter.
A: Peanut butter? Just straight peanut butter?
S: Yes. And two spoons.
A: Okay?
S: Okies thanks gurly see you soon.
A: Yep.
I laid there for about another 20 minutes before Andrea showed up. And yet. No Dylan. She handed me the jar. I opened it. I took one spoon and started eating it with her. She sat there and we were laughing and talking for an hour before the jar was gone.
"Oh phooy. No more." Said Andrea.
"Dude you know what you should go get."
"What?"
"Jesus fish."
"But I'm Jewish..."
"Oh my Andrea jesus fish are Swedish fish."
"Ohhhhhh"
"Yeah." I giggled.
"Ok ill be back ongoing to get some."
"Okay."
She left and came back with in 20 minutes...
