Chapter 7: Hangout?

 Zachary's POV 

Finally the weekends!  Finally i can relax .  I 'm bored. Both of my parents are overseas on a business trip and i'm alone for the whole week. Work , work, work. That's what they care about.

Sophia

That was the moment i thought of her. I took out my phone and dialed her number. After a couple rings she finally picked up.

"Hello? Zachary? What's up?"

" Hey. I was wondering if you would want to hang out? We can go anywhere you want.I'm bored and Mattew and Damon aren't picking up."

" Oh sure. I'm alone at home too. My mom and Jack went to pick up Jack's customized suit. Pick me up at 1?" Sophia said.

"Deal"

Its 11pm now and i have to get ready . I took out my  blue T-shirt and navy blue sweatpants . For my shoes , i took out  my brown-beige Cole HAAN shoes. I styled my hair naturally  without any gel or hairspray. i did what was necessary and went off at 12.30pm.

i reached Sophia's house at 1 . i honked , alerting her that i've arrived. A few minutes later she came out . Sohia was wearing  Boyfriend jeans with an oversized brown sweater and a black hijab with highcuts.

She walked towards my car ,opening the door and settled  inside. She told me she would go anywhere as long she went back early. So i brought her to the skating rink.Her dad is coming home after 5 from his business trip . I drove to the  skating rink.. I see that Sophia is both excited and shock as she was smiling and her eyes widen when i said skating rink.

I rented two skating shoes . As we entered the rink  Sophia quickly got hold of my arm like she was loosing balance.

"opps sorry.. first timer here"

" Don't worry i'll teach you" i smiled at her 

Sophia's POV 

" Ouch! Okay i'm done! " I said holding onto the handrail  leading back to the lounge.

" oww ! Come on ! Don't leave me here in the rink!" He wined like a kid who couln't get his ice cream.

" I've got enough bumps and bruises from falling on my bum . i said rubbing my bum.

"Well it was kind of funny watching you fall and slip and land on your bum!" he burst  out laughing

I widened my eyes at him and turned around stomping into the lounge . Then i heard Zachary 's voice calling out my name.

" oww ..Don't  be mad . I was just joking .. Come on lets go back to the Rink?" he said with his voice sounding childish.

" No!"

"Please??" he paused " okay i'll let you hold me and i'll teach you properly . Then i'll treat you to ice cream?"  he said raising both his eyebrows.

" Fine ! But i'm only doing this for the ice cream part."

" Okay then! What are you waiting for ? " He grabbed my arm, " let's go!!" he pulled me into the skating rink.

After spending what it felt like 2 hours of falling , crashing into people and Zachary laughing at me , i gave up. i made a 'i'm not talking to you any more face to Zachary' . Zachary must have saw the expression on my face  when he told me that he wanted to get us both ice cream. We went out of the rink  and gave back our rentals and went to find an ice cream parlor. I told  Zachary that i can only eat ice cream that is Halal[ no alcohol or pig fat in it]. Zachary understood and brought me to an ice cream parlor called 'sweet screams'.

 After getting our sweet screams, Zachary drove to the arcade. Zachary  exchanged $50 worth of quarters for the machines. We spent half of the  quarters and Jack called me .

"  Hello ? Sophia ? Where are you!?"

 " i 'm at the arcade why?"

" Come to the  hospital now!" he told me the room number  and which hospital in  a frantic voice.          " Papa!"  Jack  yelled. The line between me and Jack was suddenly cut off.

 Please be patient with the updating. Thank you . I've got  a camp in one day time and tomorrow i need to prepare for it. The camp is 3 days and  maybe i would be updating  5 days from now on or maybe a different timing.
