Kyla’s POV

Finally school is over! Tomorrow summer will start. I’m in my room now thinking what to do for vacation. Since my parents will leave tonight they’re going to Yorkshire to visit my grand ma and I decided not to come with them. Cause I have plans like, I’m hoping to see that boy. He’s still a mystery to me. I wonder who the hell he is. My thought was interrupted by a knock “Come in” I said then the door opened it was my mom “Sweetie come downstairs and have a lunch your dad is waiting” I nod and get up. I shut the door. We go to the dining area and take a seat. I begin to dig into my food. I was eating silently then dad broke my silence “So Kyla are you sure not coming with us?” he asked I simply nod and still digging my food “By the way sweetie I went to the grocery yesterday I bought everything you’ll need and the fridge is filled up” mom explained “Thanks mom” I answered and smile at her. After we eat I help her to clean up and dad sat on the couch and turn on the television on. Mom went upstairs to pack up their things. My phone rings I picked it up from my pocket and slide to answer. It’s Niall who’s calling.

K :“Hello?”

N: “Hey! Kyla? Are you busy?

K: “Nope”

N: “Come over here in our backyard I have something to show you”

K: “Okay I’ll be there in 5”

N: “See ya”

Then he hangs up. So I walk to the doorway “Dad I’ll be back I’ll just go to Niall’s flat” I asked for permission he just merely nod he’s busy watching a football game. So after that I go.

As I arrive at Niall’s backyard I saw him playing with a puppy and it’s so adorable both of them are cute “You’re here” he said I sigh “Yup” I exclaimed “When did you have this cute puppy?” I asked “Well just now, one of my mom’s friends give it to me” he explained and grinned “He’s so cute, so what would you name him?” I simply asked and I smile sheepishly “I decided to name him SUMMER isn’t it unique?” he smirked “So how old is he?” I asked “He’s 3 months old white labrador” he answered “You can have him” he exclaimed. My eyes grew when he said I can have his dog “But-“ he cut me off “Summer is our dog” he wiggled he’s eyebrows I giggled “Okay well let’s take care of him, he’s really cute like you” I said teasing him. He blushed and I burst out on laughter.

Niall’s POV

I felt my cheeks heat up when she said that I hate it she always teased me. “So you’re parents will leave tonight right?” that’s all I said to change the topic and to make her stop laughing “Yup and I’ll be home alone for days” she pouted “Now you have summer you won’t be alone” I said and she grinned “You’re right, Thanks Niall!” she hugged me “Thanks!” she whispered into my ear “Welcome” then she pulled away. “Can he sleep with me tonight?” she questioned “Sure, wait do you have plans for tomorrow?” she stare at me and hummed

“I don’t have plans for tomorrow, why?”

“Let’s build summer a dog house”

“I’d love that, Okay” she replied and she start playing with summer it’s like we’re having our baby to take care of I just laugh baby? Hell no it’s a puppy. I keep on laughing what am I thinking? “Summer your maybe your daddy is insane?” she’s talking to summer and what the “Do I look like a dog?” I questioned and she laugh and summer is barking so the dog agreed to her? I just shook my head and sit on the ground with her and summer is licking her face “Stop it summer it tickles” she exclaimed and giggled. So this summer will be memorable taking care of a puppy with her and she called me daddy I laugh again and she stared at me “I guess you’re crazy, right summer daddy is crazy” I smirked “I’m not crazy, don’t believe in your mommy summer” I said and she chuckled “So you want summer to think that I’m his mom and you’re the dad?” she asked I wiggled my eyebrows and she giggle she stood up and take summer with her “We’re going home now I guess he’s hungry” I immediately stood up too and nod “Okay take care of him see you tomorrow” I wave at them as well as her and holds summer hand gesturing to leave.

Kyla’s POV

I enter the house carrying summer with me and I plopped into couch and my dad still watching football game. “So what did you there” dad asked and looks at me holding a puppy his eyes grew “Kyla where did you get it? Does it bite?” he asked once more “Well Niall gave this to me” I replied “Isn’t he cute dad and he doesn’t bite?” he merely nod and I stood up stroll to the kitchen to give summer his milk. He’s still a puppy so I’ll just give him milk. I sigh in an hour my parents will be leaving. But summer is with me so I won’t be alone. Besides Natalie is there I can call her anytime that’s what she said and Niall. I shook my head and smile I called him summer’s daddy it’s like we’re parenting a puppy. After I fed summer I place him on a huge box and there he sleep quietly. I notice that mom and dad are set ready to leave. I stand up near the doorway seeing them walk on my direction dad opens the door and gave me a peck on my cheek and smile mom hugged me. “Take care Kyla, well be back” dad yelled and waved. I nod and waved back. They got in the cab and go. I closed the door and locked it. I carry summer’s box and go upstairs in my room. I put the box on the side of my table I get summer and place him on my bed he woke up “Sorry baby I woke you up” he simply bark on me. I lie down and summer too. And we fell asleep.
