I ran towards the front door and down the deck. I looked and saw the kids. All the kids from town shackled to chains. They had all turned and I watched as my girls snarled and reached for my flesh.

I dropped to the ground in tears. I reached for the gun and placed to there temples. Each shot sent chills down my spine. I sobbed and sat looking for y/n. I couldn't find her within the mass of bodies.

Maybe she is still alive.

I heard a groan in the shadows. I frantically scooted back and saw the face.

"No, no." I cried as I raised my gun. There was the love of my life. Zombified.

I sobbed and shook as I pointed the gun at her. She inched closer & closer.

"I can't." I dropped the gun. "Just do it."

She fell ontop of my body and I felt her teeth pierce my skin. It hurt like hell.

I thought of the first time I saw her.

Her smile & eyes.

I thought of our first kiss and how I knew then that we were meant to find each other.

All of the silly things I did to make her laugh.

All the times we've saved each other.

I thought of her on our wedding day and how beautiful she looked.

Her voice and laughter flooded my head.

I thought of my mother and father.

I thought of Judith who is stronger than I was at 16.

I thought of my children.

I thought of how much I loved her.

How much I will always love her.

I took the gun and placed it to her temple.

One shot.

I grabbed her hand tight and kissed her forehead. "I will always be with you my love, death will not do us part."

One shot and it was dark for me.

Goodbye world, hello death.
