Zane's POV
I was meditating in the snow forest near my father and mine's old home where I found my blueprints. Everything was calm, then I heard a scream, I followed the sound and came upon a little girl, about five, cornered by serpentine and treehorns the little girl had a white coat on that was ripped with a pair of ripped and ragged jeans. The serpentine and treehorns fled at the sight of me, I approached the girl when I noticed the snake near her feet that she seemed to be protecting.
"W-who are y-you?" She asked, the snake hissed.
"I'm Zane, the ninja of ice. Who might you be?" I asked.
"I'm Y/N, this here," she motioned to the snake. "is Dev."
"Would you like to come with me for something to eat?" I asked, she nodded and picked up her snake and followed me to Destiny's Bounty. What are my brothers going to think? I thought as I walked aboard.

"Hello Zane, who is this?" Sensei asked.

"I'm Y/N, this is Dev." the little girl said petting the snake wrapped around her arm.

"I found her in the forest Sensei." I replied.

"If you're going to ask if she can stay the answer is yes unless we find her paren-" Sensei started.

"I don't have parents." Y/N said, she then held her snake near her pocket and her snake slithered in it.

"I think I see why." Sensei replied. "You can stay here for the time being, if you're okay with taking care of her Zane." Sensei looked at me, and so did Y/N, she seemed ready for me to say no.

"I can, we might want to see if Lloyd minds having a girl his age on board." I replied, Y/N was smiling and she pulled out Dev.

"Dev, we have a home!" She told the snake, it hissed and slithered up her arm and around her neck, Y/N giggled. I smiled. I have a daughter, at least for now.
