Cole's POV

I was in ninjago city looking around when I saw something out of the corner of my eye. I looked into the alleyway I passed and saw a little girl and a small green snake sitting in it, the girl was wearing a black sweatshirt with a white t-shirt underneath and a pair of jeans, she was about four maybe five.

"We're safe Dev." She said, the snake hissed in reply. "No more serpentine chasing us, no more having us track down the ninja, no more fangblades." She said. "We'll be able to stop them once we hide ours." The snake took celebratory laps around the girls arms and neck while she giggled.

"Hello." I said stepping into the alleyway, the snake stopped and hissed at me.

"Shh Dev, be nice." She said petting the snake. "I'm an orphan living in an alleyway with a snake, in case you wanted to know, my parents are dead because the serpentine said I was the guardian of the devourer or something. Unless your a ninja I want to stay where I am." She said, she looked into my eyes.

"I actually am, my name is Cole, and I think you are acting very mature for a five year old." I replied, she breathed a sigh of relief.

"If you are a ninja," She reached into her pocket and pulled out a small piece of paper. "I made a replica of the fangblade map."

"Why don't you come stay with us?" I suggested. "If you're the great devourer's guardian then we might need you." She smiles brightly, then it fades.
"I won't have to fight them will I?" She asks.
"If I can call you my daughter then I will make sure you don't have to." I replied, she smiled again and walked up to me.
"Thanks daddy." She says as she sticks out her tongue.
"Let's get back to your new home and find you a room." I say, she nods and we walk off heading towards the building we anchored the bounty to. "Do you want me to carry you or climb behind you?"
"Behind." She replies and starts to climb. "Oh dad my name is Y/N." I start climbing behind her, one thought going through my mind. I have a daughter.
