I'm outside with baby Ne'Veah and Lilly and I'm so glad she is here. I love the fact that we grew up like sister. Ne'Veah loves her some Lilly and I need her to watch her while Jacob and I are out at Dinner.
Lilly: How Did he propose to you
Des: Well it was unexpected but really special.
*Flashback*
(I am waiting for Jacob to pick me up to go to his mom and step-father anniversary dinner. I am wearing a pink High low dress with floral sandals and makeup is very natural but with a peachy pink lip. I hear his car pull up and I am almost ready he is coming up to my front porch and with flowers like he always does.)
Jacob: Looking beautiful as always.
Des: Thank you very much. I am almost ready need my purse and keys.
Jacob: Well hurry up. We cant afford to miss the dinner.
Des: Okay *Pecks his lips* I'm ready
Jacob: Good
*The ride was fun because Jacob and I were mostly talking about prom and graduation coming up in a few weeks. We have our colors picked out for my dress and his tux. I am so excited but Its his parents dinner and Jacob step dad owns the most expensive restaurant in our neighborhood. Sometimes Jacob and I have dates here and the food is amazing. I see all of Jacob's family and his family is HUGE. i've met 90 percent of his family and i guess the 10 percent is here.*
Mama Perez: Destiny, Its so good to see you.
Des: Same as well Mrs.Perez
Mama Perez: Please call me Ma or Teresa
Des: well happy Anniversary!
Jacob: ¡mamá! padre te necesita en este momento . (ma! dad needs you right now.)
Mama Perez: Well excuse me daughter in law.
Des: Okay. *Thinks what she heard* Wait
Jacob: Come on Destiny. Lets get to our seats.
Des: Okay, fine
Papa Perez: I would like to toast to my wife of 10 years and to another 10 years in the future and more memories with you, jaocb, and our possible daughter in law.
*Jacob gets a box with a ring and gets on one knee in front of Destiny*
Jacob: You know I love you and I cant imagine a day without you. We have been together since the 8th grade and I knew you were the one for me. Desinty monae Garces. Will you be my wife?
Des: I dont know what to say.
His family: SAY YES
Jacob: We can get married after graduation, we can live in the apartments after our freshman year, you can have everything you want in life.
Des: Can I have a few days to think about it? (runs out of the restaurant)
( three days later)
*I havent spoken to Jacob since he proposed and now I'm getting scared out of my mind. Am I ready to be a teen wife I don't know what to do? Yeah, I do love Jacob he was there for me and I was there for him. My parents adore him and his parents REALLY ADORE ME. I hear rain so I know Jacob hates going out in the rain but I hope he has an umbrella for his hair.So let me call him and see what he is doing.*
Des: Jacob!
Jacob: yes Destiny
Des: I have an answer for you can you come over? Also I wouldnt mind your cuddles right now
Jacob: Well you wont have to wait any longer.
Des: oh my god *runs downstairs and see Jacob soaked from the rain.*
Jacob: my umbrella flew away from me and your house was close.
Des: Come inside. You know where the stuff is Im gonna make us a snack.
Jacob: thanks
*While making our snack I just thought This guy walked from the park in the rain for me I already know the answer.*
Jacob: Well Im glad I left a pair of sweatpants over here.
Des: Yes jacob
Jacob: yes what
Des: Yes I'll marry you
Jacob: your serious
Des: Yes, but we are getting married after college. A wedding takes time to plan and half of my family are in new york.
Jacob: okay *puts the ring on and it fits perfect*
Des: Well it has my favorite kind of pink so you know me very well from our first date.
Jacob: I should know my bride to be. Still need a cuddle?
Des: to the couch. *Puts a blanket over them* I love you
Jacob I love you too
*flashback over*
Lilly: well that was beautiful
Des: well i still love him but I want freedom like when we first started dating
Lilly: well tell him. Whats the worse that can happen?
Des: your right. I am his wife. he's at work now so I can pop up on him i mean he wouldnt mind a family day.
Lilly: well you do that I'm hanging with Rosa.
Des: Okay your the best
Lilly: Hey I've known you since birth
Des: Ne'veah wants to see her daddy
Lilly: Have fun
Des: thank you Lilly.
