A Modern Love Story

chapter 3 (in first person now)

Some part of me didn't want to believe James, but I look passed it and made myself want to believe him. After he apologized we stared at each other for a couple of minutes. Then he asked me if we can cuddle up because he said I look cold I said yes because I wanted to cuddle with him. It escalated it went from cuddling to kissing real quick. I asked him why is he interested in me. He said " I'm interested in you because you are a good person and you help people. I like you because you are unique and I love you." and I said I love you too. He started kissing me again and he went on top of me and was kissing me. Then I got on top of him and was kissing him. He started to undress me and I undressed him. We had sex , but forgot a condom. 

The next day I wasn't feeling good I started to throw up. I thought it was because I drank a lot last night so I ignored it. I took a Tylenol to see if it would make me feel better , but it didn't. James asked me " What's wrong?" I said " I don't know I haven't been feeling good. " Then i asked him if we used a condom when we had sex he said no.  I ignored the pain for a couple days to see if it would go away , but it didn't. So I called Sophia  and asked to bring me to the store because it was important and I would tell her in the car on the way there. Her and Anthony came as quick as they could. They picked up James and I. She asked "what's wrong?" I said " I want to buy some pregnancy test because I haven't felt good and  when we had sex we didn't use a condom a couple nights ago." She was like " okay do you want me to come in with you?" I said "yes" 

After we got back from the store I ran to the bathroom and did the test. When i looked at the response I cried. James came into the bathroom and said " what's wrong?" I told him that I was pregnant. When we went to go tell Sophia and Anthony I cried and I didn't know what to do. Sophia said "what are you going to do?" James replied " I don't know I never had a kid before."  I had no idea what to do. We didn't want to tell our parents so we kept it a secret.  Anthony took me aside and said " are you seriously pregnant?" I said" yes Its not my fault".  Anthony got mad then I asked " Do you want to be the godfather?" He said "Yes" and hugged me. I told him to Sophia that she is the godmother. He said " okay I will. " Then Anthony drove me home to James house.  I was like James do you want Anthony to be the godfather. He said " Yeah." Then James walked in the bedroom and gave me a kiss and said " let's watch Netflix tonight and eat pizza in bed." I said sounds like a plan where do you want me to order the pizza from? He said " Where ever you like to order from." I said okay. Then he noticed I had scars on my arm. He said " let me see both of your wrists."  I said okay and I showed him both my wrist. He said "why do you have scars on your wrist?" I said its because of middle school, He said "okay." The pizza came and we went to the room and set up Netflix and picked a movie and ate pizza. Then Emily texted me saying " I'm on my college break". I said okay wonderful we should hang out because I can catch you up on all things you missed out on when you were gone. She said " okay." Sophia didn't like James because she thought he was a little bit suspicious. So me and James watched movies until we fell asleep. Then in the morning I left to go hang with Emily, but before I left I told James that i was leaving and gave him a kiss good bye. When we and her met up at Alexander's she asked me " Oh do you still go out with James?" I said yes and I'm pregnant with his child. She yelled out WHAT YOU ARE PREGNANT. I said yeah but how is life? She said " Life is good I have a boyfriend and we go to college together. " I asked oh who's your boyfriend. She said " oh his name is Daniel. He a really nice kid he gets good grades too." I told her how much I missed her and stuff.  I told what was happening between Anthony and I, and how he is still in love with me. She said " I told u from the start I told u Anthony still likes u." I said I know you did, but he is mad and happy that I am pregnant. She was like " does he still go out with what's her face?" I said yes and her name is Sophia. Emily said " Oh remember the time in school that you and Anthony and James weren't talking to each because of other people's comments and how it almost lost YOU two really GOOD friendships." I was like yeah I hated it so bad I cut my wrist because of it. She was like " Do u still do that?" I said no only if I'm depressed. Then she said "I'll call u later I got to go to work I said okay talk to you later bye love you. I said love you too see you later.
