-Gabriella's P.O.V-

"Uh, err, I'm the maid."

"That's nice to know but that still doesn't answer my question: what are you doing to my bed?" His sexy voice asked. He stood in the doorway with a smirk lighting his face and that cocky look guys get when they know a girl has turned into a stuttering mess because of them.

Be strong; don't let his good looks deter you, I mentally coached myself.

Closing my eyes and taking a deep breath - in through the nose and out through the mouth - I replied, "My, uh, co-worker, um, she had to," Jesus Gabriella pull yourself together! He's not that attractive you can't talk! Taking another deep breath, I tried again. "My co-worker, uh, she, um, you know, she-"

Breathing out a frustrated sigh, I closed my eyes-he was that attractive that I couldn't talk-making sure I didn't peek until I finished and tried one last time, "My co-worker doesn't know how to make beds so I had to clean the mirrors and strip the bed to remake it for the third time today." It was fast-I'm not even sure whether or not he understood-but I'd managed to get the words out.

Not even bothering to look at him, I bent down to pick up the things I'd thrown on the ground earlier and tried to scamper past him. Five more minutes in this replica of a Greek god's presence and I'd turn into a blubbering mess-not that I already wasn't.

Thinking of even more ways to kill Rosie for putting me into this horrid position, I didn't even notice the replica of a god move so he was standing in my way. I bumped into his brick like chest, stumbling back a little, he grabbed my wrist.

Looking at where he'd grabbed my wrist with my mouth slightly agape, I was sure he considered me to resemble a floating fish. He let go of my wrist and I fought the urge to rub the place he'd touched.

What the hell had this guy been lifting? With eyes wide I quickly mumbled an apology. Apparently he found this amusing because he had an amused smirk planted on his face as he watched me.

"Where are you going?" Letting a low, extremely sexy chuckle fall from his lips, he nodded towards the bed, "You haven't finished making the bed."

Oh, my god! Could anyone be any sexier by just chuckling and nodding? I think not. Trying to get a grip on my beating heart I diverted my gaze to the ground so I didn't have to look at the smiling man looking down at me.

"Uh, yeah, um, I'll get straight on it, Mr Ackles." Searching for a place to put the cleaning equipment, I quickly settled on the bedside table.

Coming further into the room, Ackles dominated the entire room. How he did it? I had no idea. I felt his presence behind me as I stretched over the large bed to straighten the sheets. It felt like my entire back was calling for him to move closer behind me until our bodies met. Literally! Which was incredibly crazy, I didn't even know Ackles. I'd only just found out about him today but OH, MY GOD how my back was calling for the warmth.

Okay, Gabriella, don't think about his presence just put all your concentration into making the bed as quickly and effectively as possible. What was it my boss would tell us before each shift: 'Get in, get out'?

That's what I'll do; get in, get out. Finish making this bed and I'd be able to forget this incident ever happened. Well, right after killing Rosie.

I folded the cover down so it looked neat and smoothed out all the creases before throwing the pillows onto the bed. I turned to pick up the throw blanket but, instead of having no trouble at all, I hit the same rock hard chest again.

Electricity? Fear? Sparks? Whatever it was I didn't want to know why my heart suddenly picked up its pace. I mumbled yet another apology and made a quick retreat away from him. I threw the throw blanket over the foot of the bed which gave the whole bed the modern look.

Shoving my hand into the pocket of my dress, I pulled out the soap, shower cap and chocolate and placed them on the end of the bed. I gave the finished product one last look over, tilting my head to the side as I did so.

The white linen contrasted with the cobalt blue throw blanket looked well together. Happy with my finished product I turned leave the suite when Ackles stopped me with his laughs.

Frowning I studied this sex god. Why was he laughing? Oh, no there was something on the back of my dress! Spinning around in a circle trying to see the back of my dress, I seemed to make him laugh harder.

"Oh, sweetie, I wouldn't have minded if you came back to make the bed while I was on my date, although, I'll never forget that look!" He buckled over in laughter again, clutching his stomach as the beautiful sounds fell from his mouth.

"Uh, could you excuse me," I hurried out of the bedroom only to be stopped by Ackles again.

"You intrigue me," he stated like it was well known fact, "how about you and me, tomorrow night? And I'm not taking no for an answer."

"N-no," I stuttered. Stupid quivering voice! I'd never been on a date and I wasn't going to have my first one with a ridiculously attractive guest at the hotel. No! Employees weren't allowed to fraternize with the guests. Sexually or friendly!

"You better be at my door at seven tomorrow," he kept speaking as though I hadn't spoken. Maybe he didn't hear me. Of course he heard me, he just chose not to listen.

"Mr Ackles, employees aren't allowed to-"

"Go on dates with guests, I know, I know," he cut me off, telling me in an uninterested tone. Then a mischievous smile appeared on his face as he stepped closer to me so we were only inches apart. I was watching his every move intently, waiting for what he was going to say next. When he came to a halt I had to tilt my head slightly just to look at him. "Who said your employer needs to know?"

He winked before putting a little distance between us. I'll admit I was a little breathless from how close he was to me, smelling his delicious aftershave had my heart beating like it was running at the Olympics. I couldn't quite decipher what he smelt like but it was something sweet mixed with something else.

Shaking myself out of my daze, I shook my head. "Mr Ackles, I will not go on a date with you." With that I spun and fled the room, leaving behind the cleaning products.

Author's Note:

I felt terrible about not updating in two days so I told myself I'd write two parts tonight.

But OH MY GOD, that took alot out of me. I started at 10:30pm and it's now 1:56am.

I admit that's not very late for me but I only had three hours sleep lastnight and I got my first tattoo today. So I'm in a fair amount of pain both physically and mentally.
