Lauren had always thought there was something fascinating about the hustle and bustle of New York City. As she and her bandmates walked down a busy Manhattan street, the stern faced businessmen, chattering street vendors, and even the taxis honking as they cute each other off seemed to have a certain charm to them. She was probably biased, having only seen it from a tourist's point of view, but she couldn't wait to get a tiny apartment and experience the life of a New Yorker for herself.

She positively beamed as she craned her neck to see the top of the skyscrapers looking above her, trying to avoid being plowed over by the throngs of people rushing by her. Camila guided her with her hands on her shoulders, pulling her to the right when she almost walked straight into a hot dog stand.

"This place is magical!" Lauren shouted, throwing her hands up. She turned her head to give Camila a giddy grin, her eyes dancing with excitement.

Camila laughed and shook her head at her girlfriend; she was usually so cool and collected, but take her to her favorite city and she turned into a little kid.

When the girls had to stop at a crosswalk Camila put her head on Lauren's shoulder and wrapped her arms around her waist, intertwining their fingers for a moment as they waited. Lauren leaned back into her and sighed as she took in the sights and sounds of the Big Apple.

She always looked forward to visiting the city on tour and she was elated this time around to find that they had an entire three days to spend there, one of which they had free. She and Camila had followed through on their plan to sneak away together on their off days and they were spending today acting like tourists, wandering around and sightseeing.

Although, Camila had a different idea of what sneaking away meant and when she spotted a lonely Dinah in the hotel lobby they gained a third wheel. Lauren didn't mind too much though because Dinah was giving them their space, snapping photos of everything Lauren pointed at excitedly. Lauren looked over at her and found that she was using the thirty second break at the crosswalk to take some selfies, holding her phone high above her head and pouting her lips in true Dinah style.

"Really Dinah?" Lauren laughed, raising her eyebrows at the taller girl.

"Hey, I'm making memories. Plus I'm lookin hella fly right now," Dinah said as she moved the phone to a new angle and took a few more photos.

Lauren shook her head and Dinah looked over to find her friends sharing a moment, wrapped in each other like it was the most natural thing in the world. Camila was glowing as she held Lauren and when the older girl whispered something in her ear she blushed adorably. Dinah smiled to herself at the sight.

She was a little wary of Lauren ever since Camila had explained the rocky start to their relationship, but she was also a sucker for romance but she really loved seeing Camila so happy.

"Let's take one together!" Dinah exclaimed, scuttling over to the couple before they could protest and adjusting her phone camera so they were all in the shot.

When Lauren saw the image on the screen she cleared her throat and released Camila's hands, pushing them gently away from her waist. Camila quickly got the message and moved from behind Lauren to in between them before posing for the camera.

They took a few cute pictures until Lauren announced that the light had turned and started to cross the street with Camila. Dinah followed them, looking through the pictures they just took with a little frown. They all looked great, of course, like three stylish friends having a blast exploring the city. But Dinah had wanted to capture the cuteness of the happy couple, not the three amigos, and she was a little peeved at Lauren for thwarting her attempt.
