Chapter 14: Pair Denied

Sasha's POV

I still can't believe he still hasn't change. I can't believe I actually thought he changed. I didn't talk to him for a long time, he didn't even try to say sorry.

"Hey," Ban said.

"Oh hi," I said quite startled.

"Are you okay? You look sad," he said.

"Um, yeah I'm ok," I replied faking a smile.

We didn't really have a interesting conversation. I was still upset about Adriel.

"Did Adriel do anything to you?" he asked. How did he know?

"Yea, but how did you know?" I asked.

"There's a lot of gossip here," he explained.

"Oh," I said and made a lame excuse and walked away.

I didn't wanna talk to anyone. Then I noticed that Janna suddenly went away with Jershon. I don't know why though.

Ring-Ring. It was PE.

"Good morning class good news we have a new student for UK," Mr. Butch said. "Janssen is joining our class."

Wait Janssen? Janssen Yulangco? Janna's ex?! Everyone started whispering to each other.

"Ok, I will group you in pairs so no one would be left out," Mr. Butch stated getting our attention. "I will post this paper on the board so you can see, and you may have your break."

The board was crowded because everyone in our class wanted to see but one of our group had to be three because were 43 in all.

Janna's POV

"Janna," Janssen said.

"Hey" i replied.

"Did you see who your partner was?"he asked.

"Nope, it was too crowded maybe ill check later," I said.

"No check it now you'll see," he said.

I went to the board it said:

Here are your partner pairs:

Sasha & Thalia
Ban & Adriel
Janna & Janssen
Renee & Thania
Timothy & Jershon
Krizchelle & Luke
I didn't mind the others it didn't matter.

I was relieved that I was not partnered with Luke or Jershon.

Thalia's POV

I walked cautiously to the board, hoping that that freak did NOT become partners with Adriel, Adriel is mine.

I looked at it. When I saw my partner, my vision blurred, the only thing I could read was Thalia and Sasha.

I tried to be optimistic. At least she isn't partners with Adriel. I shrugged it off as Adriel having pity on that...thing.

I walked up to the coach and demanded that my partner should be changed as soon as possible. I also requested that I would be Adriel's partner.

I smiled as the coach pulled up his notebook and started shouting out the changed partners.

I anticipated for my turn to be called. I was confident that I would be paired up with Adriel. I smiled, pretty excited to see the look on Sasha's face when she figures out that I was paired up with Adriel.

I stopped my train of thought when I heard my name.

"Ban and...Thalia." He announced

I stood up before he could say anything else.

"Sir, are you sure that I'm assigned to him?" I said, with disgust in my voice when I said him.

The coach looked up from her clipboard with an annoyed expression. "Yes, I am."

He proceeded to call names, until he reached Sasha. "Adriel and Sasha."

I glared at her, and gave her my middle finger, but she didn't even mind me. I decide that I should get that dumb coach fired.

Renee's POV

When I was struggling to see the paper that coach posted on board, coach suddenly declared that he made new pairs.

"Renee and Thania," he announced. Thania and I high-fived each other.

"Timothy and Krizchelle," he announced. I immediately looked at Krizchelle. It was obvious that she likes him. Why can't I be his pair?

Why is life so unfair?
