1) Gear up
Make a survival pack. Consisting of only the needs of live. Like food and water, clothing, etc. Your not going to play Destiny or GTA 5 on the run from zombies, so say your goodbyes. A hand gun with bullets would do nicely for fending off threats (but only if you are good at shooting things, like something not in a video game.) If your in the UK or can't get fire arms, the standard baseball bat or axe will do good. Also, listen to the radio, but never respond to it. The remaining people will be out for themselves and may try and kill you for that one last Devil Dog you have left.
