"Please forgive me Alumina," Lucy murmured, seeming to sense the sudden sadness from the girl, whom had grown so very silent for some time now. "I can't tell you how sorry I am for all of this... You didn't deserve anything that happened to you... And... And I... I wish I could... Take it back..." Lucy started shaking again, "... Because now... Now you're going to die because of me! I never wanted this to happen... I never... I..." Lucy was shaking with uncontrollable tears now, Alumina stayed where she was. "Heliard... He's going... To..." Lucy choked out.

"... Lucy," Alumina murmured, stepping forward to grasp her fellow blonde's hands in her own. Lucy's head snapped up at the action, eyes wide at the look Alumina had set upon her. A calm, serene look that made her tears slow- "You don't need to apologize." Alumina murmured, "I know this isn't what you would ever want, and trust me- this isn't the end, Lucy."

Lucy blinked, "What do you mean?" Alumina gave her a small smile and Lucy's eyes grew wider, because something in her head clicked and she knew exactly what Alumina was planning. "No... Alumina, you ca-!"

Alumina shook her head, silencing Lucy. "I understand all of it now, and I'm sad to say that everything that happened in the Guild, all those I came to know... I just never belonged there." Lucy stared, "I only ever felt so at home there, because of you. The Guild doesn't need me, they never did. They need you, Lucy."

"Alumina that's not true! They love you!" Lucy protested but Alumina shook her head, so calm...

"No, they love you. They always have, their love for you is the only reason they took so well to me- because in their hearts they could all still sense your presence." Alumina murmured. "I'm thankful for my time there- but I'm afraid it has to end."

Alumina smiled brightly, head tilting to the side a little and eyes closing as tears spilled over and ran down her cheeks.

"But you Lucy, you have to go back." Alumina smiled, "And I'm willing to die in order for that to happen." Lucy shook her head frantically, but she knew deep down it wouldn't change anything- because Alumina had already made up her mind, and there was a sense of deep commitment that had flared to life so suddenly, she was going to stop she was going to do this...

"Just promise me one thing, Lucy." Alumina murmured, Lucy's tears began to spill faster. "Take care of Ursa for me, alright?"

"I... I promise...!" Lucy sobbed, hardly able to form for the words as she threw herself forward and pulled Alumina close, wrapping her arms about the other blonde. She couldn't express... Just how sorry, and yet thankful she was...

Everything was being bathed in the most excruciatingly bright light, the brighter he had ever seen... Loke held a hand up to shield his eyes from it, his glasses had fallen to the floor and shattered.

He stepped forward against the light, eyes wide and fearful. He had been running through the place, looking for his KeyHolder frantically and tirelessly. A sense of dread had fallen upon him a long time before, and it had only begun to weigh even more upon him as he continued on time continued to pass.

Ursa stood beside him, looking mortified with her ears against her head, shaking slightly.

They only now came upon where they had been trying to get, and the sight sent dread through them-
