In the woods, many creatures lie waiting, hiding. It is dangerous for anyone to go alone in these vast oceans of trees, for you never know what may be lurking in the shadows, preparing to feast on you and sink their furious teeth into your flesh. Blood thirsty beasts line the wood grounds, birds of prey with razor sharp talons soar just above the tree limbs. Even the smallest critter that may seem friendly and harmless, could rip into your skin and feed on your blood. Although these woods contain deadly creatures, one pure being enters them with no fear, to accomplish her mission to bring her dearest granny, sick in bed, her favorite sweets and treats. This being of pureness has a cape as red as blood, a gown as soft as the finest silk, and cheeks hinted with blush. She truly was a sweet sight, but even more so to the starving evils that crave the ever so sweetness of a young girl.
It was all competition now on who will get to her first. All were hungry except one; a wolf. This wolf was very different from the pack it belongs in; his gruff is like silver found in mines, and his eyes are a luscious gold. This wolf cared not for feasting on the girl, but rather treasuring her as his own. He believes it was love at first sight, although love is a silly thing to believe in when your home is filled with blood-shed and death. With the girl, taking precaution on her footing through the trees, the wolf walked beside her, but out of sight. He watched carefully, not to get noticed by this breath-taking light. Alone in the woods it may have seemed to the girl, but in her eyes she was among many heart-felt critters that were of peace. Making a faulty move, the girl slipped into a meadow of green grass and butterflies fluttered away in shock. Instead of getting up to brush her knees off and pick up the fallen pastries, she enjoyed the view from where she lay; the light sun ray beating ever so slightly on her pure skin.
The wolf, peering to far off the edge, lost his footing and came tumbling down into the meadow where the girl lay. After surprising the girl, he sat up quickly and looked into her emerald-green eyes. The wolf didn't mean to scare her so in apology he picked a flower from the meadow they lay in and presented it to her. The girl smiled lightly and took the flower with acceptance, she also giggled a bit because the wolf had leaves stuck to his coat in a clumsy mess. The wolf was stunned by her beauty; he had only seen her from afar and now he was face to face with her. Not knowing he had leaves all in his fur, the girl brushed him off for him. Both smiled and introduced each other.
After finally picking up the pastries that had fallen from the basket, both the girl and the wolf walked side by side through the woods. They had told each other stories about many different adventures and tales on their stroll, it seemed that it would never end. But as they continued walking, the creatures of death followed them with disgust and anger, for they did not like the idea of love and they weren't going to let a meal walk from their sights. The wolf, knowing what was stalking in the darkness, wanted to protect his glorious treasure from all of the evil. Any thing that tried to attack would be dead in seconds. It is violent, but it is the only way to keep evil from harming the girl. It is not polite to say, but is right in the matter of speaking that the girl can be quite oblivious to her suroundings. She would get gobbled up within mere seconds if she weren't careful.
They finally reached the house so the girl said farewell to the kind wolf and went inside. Giving her granny the basket of goodies, she remembered that she hadn't thanked the wolf for their nice talks and peacefulness with her. Upon remembering this, she opened the door, hoping the wolf was still in sight, yet found the wolf sitting at the door step with blood oozing from his mouth and staining his silver fur. She hadn't recalled seeing him like this when she shut the door last. He looked up at her with a sincere smile; he would protect her from any evil being that approched. The girl didn't like having him stay outside with all of the blood-shed woods so she offered him to come inside the house, but he refused. The wolf didn't want to soil the carpet with blood, but he also didn't want to risk something catastrophic to occur. Instead of forcing him against his will, she grabbed a wet cloth from the kitchen and cleaned up the wolf's stained silver the best she could.
Although it would have been nice to have stayed in her granny's warm home a while longer, she decided that she'll head back to her own home before it got to dark. This wasn't a lie, but she mainly wanted the wolf to be safe as well. As their journey back to the edge of the woods continued, the night rose quickly, making more deadly beasts searching for a midnight meal to feast their fangs into. Frigid wind began to pick up causing the girl to shiver in her tracks. The wolf has thick fur, so it doesn't effect him as much, but he didn't want the girl to freeze to death so he advised her to climb onto his back and then ran away from the path that lead towards home. Instead of going to the girl's home, the wolf decided to take her to his home; a cave. Now, this wasn't some creepy, cold cave, it was very comfortable and unmistakably warm. The wolf settled down and rested the girl with him. Both fell asleep with the soft pitter-patter of their hearts beating throughout the night.
Early morning had arrived and a couple of the wolf's comrades entered the cave's mouth with death and hunger filled in their evil glowing eyes. With the girl still resting on his chest, the wolf refrained from moving to scare off his blood seeking friends because he did not want to wake up his fair madden. All he could do was cover the girl in hopes his pack members would stand back and search for a different meal. The wolves knowing what may occur if they don't follow their alpha's directions, they backed off quickly and sprinted out of the cave in a flash. Relieved that they scurried off, he snuggled next to the girl, never wanting to loose sight of her again. But he is a wolf that doesn't belong with a madden like her.
They finally continues their walk following the path, the light coming through the trees light bestowing a wonderful sight indeed for the girl, the wolf not so much; the end of the path of the dreadful and deadly woods. With excitment, the girl skipped onwards, but the wolf started to slow in his steps. The girl wanted to show the wolf her home, her world, but the wolf didn't feel fit walking from his world into the next. They parted ways from the door frame of trees, hoping to see each other again. From this day on, the girl and the wolf see each other regularly. Each time telling new stories and showing new findings. From within the woods, which store many blood thirsty beasts, evils of the unknown, and dangers of unspeakable truths, love was created despite all the hate that surrounded it. A girl and a wolf do not belong together, but no matter the rules, they will still love each other for eternity.
