We slowly approached the manor that sent the request about the missing little girl. It was quite pretty actually. It had pink walls with white edging, and humongous glass windows.

We walked up to the door and knocked on it politely, waiting for an answer.
"Ugh come on" I heard Natsu mumble.
"Be patient" I said before nudging him.
Just as I set my arm down the huge door opened, revealing a man in a tuxedo.
"Can I help you?" He asked snottily.
"Um yes. We were wondering if we could attempt to find your little girl that is missing?" I politely asked.

"Oh yes! Please come in!" The man happily obliged, moving his hand in a 'come towards me' movement.

He sat us down on a long couch and asked one of his maids to bring us tea.
"So as you may have heard the reward is 2,000,000 jewels" we nodded.
"We have decided to raise it to 3,000,000 jewels because our dearest daughter has been missing for quite a while and we miss her dearly" the man said before looking down. I was suddenly happy at the raise of price but soon realized I needed to ask the man questions.

"So, did you see the being that took your daughter?" I asked while putting on a fake smile.

"Yes, in fact I did. It was dark and had a mysterious purple fog around it. It also had a deep, raspy voice."

I simply nodded as I wrote these clues down. "Anything else sir?" I asked him politely. "No, and thank you for helping me find my daughter" he said while smiling.

We nodded and left, heading towards the hotel. I entered and looked at the notes I had taken on the small amount of information he had given us.

I slowly nodded and told myself where we needed to go, also a few guesses on who the kidnapper was.

I had made a map earlier telling Natsu and I where we needed to go. We slowly roamed the forest for quite a while, eventually running into a small cottage about the size of half my apartment. It honestly didn't look like it could fit anything in it.

I hid behind a tree as 3 men came out, holding a little girl.
"There" I whispered to Natsu.
He looked so concentrated and focused for once. Natsu nodded and took a step forward. I shot my arm out, stopping him from going any further.

"Let's see if the bastards do anything" I whispered to the impatient Natsu. He groaned then covered his mouth instantly.

"Did you hear that?" One of the men asked the two others. "No you idiot! Get back to work!"

As soon as they disappeared I saw the thing that the man had described. Purple fog, pitch black, and it has a raspy voice.

I could hear the beast talking to its-self uncontrollably, muttering psychotic things about his life. It soon disappeared into the forest in the direction the men headed.

"Come on Natsu" I whispered before heading towards the small shack. I slowly entered and realized there wasn't a single item inside it.

"What the hell? There's nothing in it!"
Natsu nodded and pointed his finger the way that the men and thing headed.

"Come on let's follow them!"
"No, we need to figure out why the shack has nothing in it" I turned my head around to see a missing Natsu.

"Ughhh" I groaned, heading towards the forest.

"Complete idiot" I muttered.
"Who me?" I heard Natsu say.
"What the hell Natsu?!" I yelled, covering my mouth afterwards.

After a while of walking we spotted the four men we were looking for. Of course, Natsu ran up to them and punched a single man in the head, starting a fight.

I ran over and immediately took action,
" BLACK LIGHTING CANNON!" I screamed, pointing my hands in the direction of the beast. It knocked him out, surprisingly. I thought it would have taken more then that.

Natsu smirked at me and finished off the last man. He ran over to the girl and untied her, hugging her after.

"Are you ok?" Natsu asked with a concerned look.
"Yea" she said and smiled cutely.
He smirked and picked her up, putting her on his shoulders.

'He'd be such a good father if he would've stayed with Lucy' I thought before smiling.

We slowly approached the mans' house that we had been to earlier. We knocked on the door again and a maid answered. She told us that the daughters parents weren't there.
"Can we leave her with you?" I asked the maid.

She nodded and handed us an envelope that supposedly had our reward in it. We thanked the maid and headed back to the hotel to gain our items and get on the train that was soon to be leaving.
