The typical fanfic moments
As you all know I live with Didi in one house and that means we see each other every day, we even work together. Talking about family sticks with family.
But back to subject.
During Raw, Didi, our cousin Barbora (who also lives with us) and I were talking about fanfic. Great subject during Raw, I know.
And we came across the typical fanfic moment and clichés. Now some of us love some cliché, with that being said I do to (SOMETIMES)
But sometimes because of those moments I loose interest in the story. I have some cliché moments too but I try give it another spin. As for the typical fanfic moments, I don't do that, or at least I don't think I do them.
TYPICAL FANFIC MOMENT.
Example 1;
The parents NEVER support the female OC.
Are you kidding me!? Your parents don't always agree on things but they want to see you happy. Am I right or not?
If I tell my mom I want to build a rocket/ spaceship, idk you know what I mean, and live on the moon, she'll of course ask if I'm on crack or any type of drugs, but she'll help me build that rocket/spaceship because if that is what makes me happy then she'll do it.
Example 2;
She is ALWAYS trained by the BEST superstars and/or divas in the WWE.
Honey, The Rock ain't going to say 'You know what, I'll stop my big Hollywood career and train this bitch.'
I know it's fanfics, you are free to use your IMAGINATION but a little realistic too? Yeah? Then we are friends again.
Example 3;
Divas like Lita, Trish or any kind of amazing Diva STILL fights in the ring. And guess what? She has an WrestleMania match with them.
Beeeeeeep. I'm sorry what? I'm not even going to start about that.
Example 4;
She ALWAYS bumps into the Superstar and thinks it's a brick wall who happens to be so damn hot that she squirts right there. Or her ovaries explode.
Idk Dean, Roman, Seth or any kinda Superstar were brick walls. Just ugh, if I read that I'm done with the book.
Example 5;
The BIG storyline love interest! They ALWAYS fall in love with each other during that storyline..
Okay Stephanie and Hunter and maybe others fell in love that way. But to see it in every book? Come on lassies, gimme some good shit!
Example 6;
The girl cuts herself for every single thing.
Ladies I've been in that place. I've done self harm, that's shit you aren't supposed to joke with. I have scars on my arms and belly. My scars make me who I am. Just STOP it with the self harming in the books. Instead of making weak women, make them freakin strong. Okay she could have a rough past but she keeps herself together! I've one ultimate OC who I really love and that is Persephone (of collided, Didi her book) that chick had a horrible ex but that she self harm? NO! Why? Because she is a strong woman who earned her strips and goddammit all women do!
I could come up with a lot of examples and clichés but I won't.
To the girls,
Stop with the self harming girls, make your OC a strong girl who knows what's she made of. STOP it with the trained by blabla because it's quite annoying. The storyline thing? Come up with something a little better than that, use your creative mind lassies. And STOP, just STOP with the brick wall thing!
