Ash walked up the stone cobbled path to Pallet town. He skipped delightedly with a energetic Pikachu by his side as he went home for the first time in three years.
Melissa laughed in amusement at the joyous boy. She deeply admired his positivity and unwillingness to give in. A trait that had come in handy on quite a few occasions.
"Hey no fair I wanna run too" a little girl no more that 5 huffed. Ash then paused and turned around grinning at the little girl.
"Come on then Molly. You better run fast though, otherwise the tickle monster will get you". Ash chuckled at her pouting face.
She went zooming down the hill at top speed whilst Ash ran after her. "Wait up guys" Melissa shouted and sped of too.
"Seriously can't you guys act your age for at least once". A bulky man called Matt complained, walking slowly down the hill after them.
