After the movie had finished, Dan and Phil walk beside each other on the way back to their apartment. Phil peers up at the sparkling stars. Dan gazes at him while still walking, while a cute and amused smile plays on his lips.
Phil stops looking up, and sees Dan's eyes on him. Phil's cheeks begin to turn pink.
"So? What did you wish for?" Dan asks, hoping inside for something.
/Anything/.
Phil bites his bottom lip, turning his gaze to the ground. Phil's heart races. Letting out a sigh, he stops walking, and stops Dan by suddenly holding his hand.
"Ph-Phil...?" the brunette whispers as he finds himself lost in his roommate's beautiful blue orbs. Phil, hesitant if this was the right thing or not, starts to doubt everything. He's been waiting for what seemed like forever and dreaming of a perfect moment.
/This/ was their perfect moment.
Phil leans forward and presses his soft lips to Dan's. Dan smiles against Phil's lips and kisses him back.
It /felt/ perfect. Nothing mattered but each other as they embraced, pure happiness filling their hearts. They pull apart slowly. Dan's eyes twinkle in the moonlight.
/"That's what I hoped."/
