Dork Diaries:An Ungrateful Brat

December 12th (part 2)

"Well I guess I gotta go now" Brandon sorta cries.
"Bye" Zoey cheers.
"Hey Zoe can you drop me off at home now?" I asked.
"Sure,I guess" Zoey says sheepishly.
Zoey's mom drove me to my house and went inside.
"Nikki your back early?" Dad asked.
"I got hungry" I lied.
"Why didn't you buy a sub or some pizza or some fries?" he asked.
"I wanted some of your home cooked ham" I lied.
"Ok I'll get on that but be out in 25 minutes" he said.
I went to my room and thought about my choices of sulking pajamas:
•grey shorts,pink t-shirt,and bunny slippers
•blue leggings,silver night gown and bunny slippers
•long black jeggings,black t-shirt and bunny slippers
Hmmm,I thought.I chose to go with grey shorts,pink t-shirt and bunny slippers.I cried on my bed for 20 minutes and then dad called " Nikki come get some ham!"
I reluctantly went into the kitchen.
"Nikki have you been crying?" Dad asked.
"I just really miss your ham you know " I lied.
"Well maybe I should make it more often" he said.
"No,Thanksgiving makes it special" I lied.
Even though Dad's ham usually tasted like wet dog I tasted really good.I had more than 5 slices that night.and then I washed it down with some apple juice.
I think I'll call it sulky meat!I'm such a dork.
I went to bed about 11 when I got a text from Zoey.
I'll read it in the morning I thought.
