"Mike, what are we doing here?" I asked, slightly annoyed. He knew I hated surprises, but he insisted on it. We were at this little coffee shop that probably had open mic nights and poetry readings. The whole front of the store was made of brick and the door made of some red-stained wood. It seemed a bit creepy, really, but the sign above the door read 'Little Bit Of love Coffee Shop' and it seemed okay. As we walked in Mike ignored me, looking around for something. He seemed to have found it and waved excitedly, waking over to a corner booth to greet some guy with big gauges in his ears and some other guy with spiky hair. I reluctantly followed.
"Vic, I'd like you to meet Jaime Preciado and Tony Perry. They want to join our band," said Mike as he and I sat down. I greeted Tony first and talked with him briefly before turning to greet Jaime. "Um, hey. Hi-me, is it?" I asked nervously. They man with the spike hair grinned and shook my hand. Damn he has a nice smile.. "Yeah, that's right." He said with a chuckle. "Are you wanting to be our lead guitarist? I play rhythm and vocals... Mike, my brother, plays drums and um.." I stuttered nervously. He shook his head slowly. "Bassist, actually," He corrected.
I don't remember what happened after that except we had a quick tryout back at my house and I had to admit, they were good! And Jaime definitely was a really cool guy. I liked him instantly. That's the day when we became Pierce The Veil.
OC: I quick summary of how the guys met and came into the band. No much, but it's something. lol
