Tears of loss

(Sesshomaru pov)

I took my son to my mother who was now in a room helping a demon. "Mother, " my voice quivering. This caught my mothers attention, she looks at me. "You had twins, " her eyes darken a little as I nod, " oh my son ." She comes closer to me sorrow in her eyes. "My son, " her voice was as soft as it has ever been ," one will not survive, your son can get better but as he grows healthy it kills the twin." "Why, " I ask feeling my control slipping. She pulled me back to the room (y/n) was at. She was holding our daughter. (Y/n) looks at me with her piercing loving eyes. Just her eyes as they widened realizing what my mom had told me broke the last bit of control and my face, body,  and mind gives out. I was on the floor holding my son as close as possible. One won't survive,  tears fall freely like a waterfall. (Y/n) sat next to me with our daughter in her arms. "One Will absorb the others aura, " my mom told us ," demons were never meant to be born as twins,  or more than one." (Y/n) takes our son in her free hand. Tears form in her eyes. "Why, " she asked looking at our babies. "It's how it has always happened, " mother looks at me my shoulders slug down," once one has absorbed the other with the power of its own and its twin will leave the living child very powerful." "How long do we have before that happens, " (y/n) asked. "An hour, tops," my mom said softly," and there have been times where both have dead." (y/n) looked horrified, both of our babies cough hard and one,  I don't know which sounded like blood was choking it.

Sesshomaru's face crumbles and I feel my heart break. He took me in his arms as I hold the twins close one or both will die within 24 hours. Sesshomaru's Mom leaves on a call. Both of them had the crescent on their foreheads. Both looked beautiful, and both start up at us. Sesshomaru then helps me to our house some tribe members were following trying to see the babies but Sesshomaru had covered them with a blanket. Rin runs over to us, but I go to mine and Sesshomaru's room. I lay on the mat pulling my babies close. They look at me and smile. My heart felt like it was being tugged. I smile back at them letting them hold my claws. Sesshomaru had put Rin to bed after feeding her. I start to slip into sleep but I stay up. "I know you are worried about them my love, but you need your rest," Sesshomaru said laying on the other side of the babies. He softly strokes the babies faces. "What about their names," I asked. (Boy name)= (B/N) (Girl name)= (G/N)  "(B/n) , (G/n) ," Sesshomaru said softly making me smile I love the names. I soon found myself drifting off to sleep. I woke to crying. "Shhhh little one," I heard Sesshomaru say softly. The baby didn't sound healthy at all. I sat up holding (G/n) who was still asleep. Her aura was growing, as I look at her brother his aura was fading. Sesshomaru was trying to keep him calm. "Sesshomaru, " I said my voice cracking. He looks at me and trys to hide (B/n). I set (G/n) on the mat and go to Sesshomaru taking (B/n) in my arms. He looks at me his eyes becoming blood shot. I snuggle him close Sesshomaru holds me close. Soon (B/n)'S aura is gone, and the only thing left behind was an empty dead body. I didn't realize I was crying and screaming till (G/n) woke crying scared. Sesshomaru rubs my back as I hold our dead child close. Sesshomaru's mother came in. She looked upset as she knelt down in front of me. "May I take the baby, " she asked softly reaching for (B/n). I shook my head no. I snuggle into Sesshomaru , he takes (B/n) and hands his dead body to his mother. "No, " I cry out trying to grab for him but Sesshomaru holds me close. "We need to give him a proper burial," Sesshomaru said softly kissing my neck. He was holding me close but I could hear his heart beat faster telling me he was upset. I look at him and his eyes looked glazed. I stroked his face placing my forehead on his. "We will get through this together, " He told me softly . I then took (g/n) into my arms.
(gonna put (G/n) as child name (C/n) Now ) Sesshomaru holds us close. (C/n) looks up at me sniffling like 'What happened?' I stroke her face softly smiling a little at her. She yawns, I had woke her. "Sorry my dear, " I said softly running my claws through her short hair, " Go back to sleep my love." Sesshomaru kisses my neck softly as I stroke his face as well. I began to cry softly. Sesshomaru holds me closer as (C/n) falls asleep.

The tribe was dying to see our child. Rin had gotten to see the baby, but she didn't look to happy about it. (Y/n) would visit (B/n)s grave every day with (C/n). She was thankful we didn't lose both of them. (C/n) was a very strong baby and she loved to hear (y/n) sing, and so did I.
