Captain Maximoff

Bold light flashed into my sleeping face and the sound of my alarm echoes around my room. 6:47am. It was time for me to awake and meet with Natasha at 7:00am for some last minute training. Today I had to show Steve Rogers that I had the real skills to become a full time Avenger. I may have helped defeated Ultron in Sokiva, but that was once. Would I really up for the challenge that I had no preparation for? This was no case of if I  didn't feel up to it, being an Avenger is a full time thing, and has to be prepared to fight to save the world.

I knew I was running late to meet Natasha, but was hoping she would be running late with Sam's training so it would give me a few extra minutes to get ready. I was going to meet Steve after my fifteen minutes session with Natasha, so I knew presentation was key. I put my long auburn hair into a neat ponytail. I put on my black sports bra and leggings, and teamed it with my red hoodie and Nike trainers and was ready to meet Natasha.

As I was walking to meet Natasha, I walked past the lecture theatre, where every Monday there would be a weekly meeting with agents who work within the Avengers location. Today, the meeting was held by Nick Fury. I wasn't able to catch his whole speech, but I stopped by the door to listen in to what they were saying. Just at that moment, Nick Fury Stated: "What happend in Sokiva happened. We weren't expecting it, but the main thing is that Iron man, Hawkeye, Thor, Hulk and the rest of the new Avengers here were able to stop Ultron for causing..."

I suddenly side tracked and totally forgot what Fury was saying. What did he mean by the"Avengers here"? Did he forget about Pierto? How could he forget that Pierto was here to help stop Ultron's actions. I was devestated he had said that. If he was here, it would be different. But he's not. I started to think how much I missed him, and how different it would be if he was here.

"Maximoff!?!" Shouted a voice. It was Fury. "Are you alright. Would you like to say something?" The whole room was now staring at me. I was so deep in thought that I was now standing in the middle of the theatre with tears streaming down my face. I couldn't lie. I had to tell him what I was really thinking.
