Several punch bags were laid across the gymnasium floor, alongside a selection of weapons and some target practices as I walked in. Steve was leaning against the wall starring at the floor, looking quite disappointed.
"Hi" I said sheepishly. He didn't respond. "Are you ok?" I said as I stepped forward. He suddenly put his hand up, I guessed he was signalling me to stop moving. Silence filled the room. None of us spoke for a few minutes. I was about to leave the room when Steve finally spoke.
"I heard you were leaving" he whispered. He was still starring at the floor. I look confused. How did he know?
"How did you know? I thought I was the person who could read people's minds" I stated, but was still whispering. He smiled and looked at me. We were now starring at each other. All I could think of is how dreamy his eyes were. I could read his mind right now. He was devestated to hear I was leaving, and was gonna to try and make me stay. He was also disappointed that I wasn't wearing gym clothes, Although he did think I looked rather attractive. He looked me up and down. I was wearing matching black top,jeans and heels with my red leather jacket. "Were you even planning to do your assessment?" He questioned. I looked at him. "So I guess your the one who can read everybody mind now," I moaned sarcastically. They both chuckled slightly. "But on a serious note, how do you know I'm leaving?" I questioned.  "How do I know?" He reapeated my question and I nodded. "There CCTV installed in every room. I got Maria Hill to check the footage from your room to make sure you didn't damage anything. We saw you destroy you room and pack your bags. That's how I know" he said and starred at me. I was devestated that he saw me get so angry.
"I'm sorry Steve. But let's face the facts. You don't want me as part of the team, and the rest of the team hate me for what I have done, so I'm leaving. Right now. I don't know where I'll go, but I'll find somewhere" I said quietly. My voice was shaky, as if I was going to cry. Steve moved away from the wall. "Your not leaving" He said.
