Writig is my only escape. And there is a lot I need to escape from in life.

----------

'The brave knight then stepped over his enemy's body as he started walking towards his beautiful bride to be; the great princess Meredith. "Oh thank you so much my handsome hero. This might be the final step to my father finally letting us get married!"'

"So," Jamie leaned over her seat and the aisle to look at his paper, "You like to write?"

He covered the notebook with his sweatshirt sleeve. "Yea, whats that to you?"

She giggles and tries to move his arm, but as soon as she touches it he winces and pulls away. She looks at him, curious. "Are you okay Evan?"

"I'm fine. Just... Just leave me alone!" He almost shouts the last bit as he shoves his notebook into his bag and darts out of the class, almost in tears as he clutches his arm.

As soon as Evan got home he ran to his room and slammed the door shut. Throwing the schoolbag into the corner, he flops onto his bed and leans towards his nightstand.

"She can't know, she can't know..." He mumbles to himself as he opens a small blue box.

He takes out a new pen, but this time its not for a valiant love story. This is a story about pain, loneliness, and the need to feel accepted. This is a story about secrets and trying to not be discovered.

A sigh escapes his lips as he starts his new story. Right next to all his favorites. This a story that he writes in silver, and it always comes out in scarlet ink.

So this is a new story that popped into my head the other day so I don't know how far into it I'll actually get. Advice or ideas are always welcome.
