"Nothing!" Said Dipper quickly, his face starting to turn red, "I thought, uh, we were getting your... Grappling hook! That's right... Your, um, grappling hook!"
Mabel stared at him suspiciously and then turned to me and said, "We're going upstairs to have a 'twin talk'. See ya!" Mabel grabbed Dipper's hand and dragged him upstairs. During all this time my face was crumpled in a confused look. Oh well, I'll never understand what's it like having a twin brother or sister. That's a mystery that I might never uncover.
Dipper's POV
Mabel dragged me upstairs to our attic room. She dragged me inside and closed the door behind us.
"Dipper, I see what's happening here..." Said Mabel doing a smirk.
"What?! Nothing- nothing at all!" I stammered. "It's all cool, Mabel!" My face wouldn't stop heating up and my words kept on tangling.
"Dipper's in love! Dipper's in love! DIPPER HAS FALLEN IN L-O-V-E!" Mabel chanted loudly while running around me.
"Mabel! Stop! I'm not in love, I-I just found Y/N a, ya know, a really interesting person..."
"And you're gonna try to make her yours!"
"You are entirely correct Mab- wait, WHAT?" I turned to her as my eyes widen in shock. I stared at her and I could see that she was trying not to burst it out. "No. No. No. NO!!" I said quickly. "I meant as a friend."
"Okay sure Bro Bro... But betcha can't keep it for a long time!" She said teasingly and ran out the door and down the stairs.
"Bet you can't do it!" I called back. I sighed. Having a sister like Mabel is never really easy. I left our room and walked slowly down the stairs.
Mabel's POV
Oh yeassss! My bro bro is in love so MMM (Mabel the Match Maker) is back in business!
"So, Y/N, what are your interests?" I questioned the girl.
"Well, I like solving mysteries and stuff..."
Okay yeah, yeah, that's totally like my dorky brother... I can really see them getting married right now...
"Uh, Mabel? You kinda drifted of there into space..."
"Huh? Oh yeah!" I snapped out of my dream world of Smile Dip. Smile Dip can wait (ship name) can't wait and needs to happen.
"Um, Y/N? Do you want to go on a mystery hunt with us tomorrow?" I turned around to see Dipper standing there with his face tinted pink a little. I gave him a smirk.
"Oh yeah! I'd love to! What will we be looking for?" Asked Y/N.
Why can't they see they're perfect for each other? Oh wait... IDEA!!!
"Well, I thought we could find a-" Dipper started.
"IDEA! Dipper, while you're standing there like a dope and wondering what we're going to look for tomorrow, Y/N are gonna watch a scary movie!" I said then grabbed Y/N wrist and dragged her to the kitchen for some popcorn.
Dipper's POV
What?! Mabel just cut me off, called me a dope and dragged Y/N away before I could say what we would be searching for tomorrow. We were going to search for were-people. Ugh, a scary movie great...
I sat down on the couch and waited for Mabel and Y/N to return.
When Mabel and Y/N, I saw Mabel push Y/N towards the couch to sit next to me. Y/N sat next to me and Mabel pushed (horror film name) into the DVD player. She sat down on the floor in front of Y/N and I.

Throughout the movie you kept grabbing Dippers' arm when you were scared and at the most scariest part, you buried your face in Dippers' shoulder.
Still Dippys' POV
Finally when the movie ended, it was time to eat dinner. You stood up and switched off the tv.
"So. Who wants to go to the diner?" You asked.
"Not me. Too scary to go outside. I'm staying here with Waddles and I gotta plan a sleepover with the girls! They have to meet Y/N!" Said Mabel. Mabel stood up and ran upstairs.
"I'll go." Said Y/N. I turned to her and stared into her E/C eyes. Oh, how much I loved those E/C eyes. Oh man Dipper, what happened to Wendy? Whatever, with Y/N, I think I might have a chance. WELL, if I wasn't so awkward and sweaty...
"Uh Dip? Hello, earth to Dipper?" Y/N was waving her hand in front of my face.
"HUH?! Oh yeah. Um I'm gonna like, Grunkle Stan. Y'a know, to ask him if we could. You know, eat at the diner and stuff. Bye!" I said backing from the room slowly, not without crashing into the wall of course. I went to the Gift Shop to ask Stan about going to the diner with Y/N...
Y/Ns' POV
"Bye!" Dipper left the room. I giggled at his nervousness...
"Oooo, someone's got a date!" I blushed and turned to face her.
"No, Mabel, we're just two friends. HANGING OUT." I put the emphasis on "hanging out"
"Yeah yeah. Did you see how he stared into your eyes. AND you stared BACK." She smirked. I feel my cheeks heat up. "Aw! She's blushing again! I know you like him..."
"Is there something wrong with it? Because I have been in this same situation, like I have fallen once for my best friends' brother..."
"Are you kidding me?! This is AWESOME! My BROTHER and my FRIEND! GOING ON A DATE TOGETHER!"
"If it really is then I've got nothing to wear..."
"Omg, girl why you ackin' so cray cray?! May may is here to save the day!" Mabel grabbed my hand and dragged me upstairs.
Dippers' POV
"Hey Grunkle Stan, Great Uncle Ford, is it okay that I got to the diner with Y/N?"
"Oh ho ho! Looks like someone's got a date!" Exclaims Stan.
"What no. She's Wendys' cousin. She's never been to Gravity Falls, so the diner is a good place to start, right?"
"Sure. Sure. I don't want to stop from going on a date with girl that actually said yes to you!" Grunkle Stan replied while Great Uncle Ford laughed.
"I think it's great that you got a girlfriend!" Said Ford.
"Okay..." I mumbled. I walked away from both of them. When I came back to the living room, Y/N was gone.
Oh well. Maybe next time... I sat down on the couch and as I was going to switch on the TV, I heard someone say quietly behind me,"Hey, Dip."
I stood up and turned around to see Y/N. She was pretty, no, she was beautiful. Her H/L H/C was free from the ponytails and flowed down her back. She was wearing a strapless white dress with a golden head band. To complete the look, she was wearing golden flip-flops and her toes were painted with silver glittery nail polish. Even her hair looked like it had some glitter in it. That was Mabels' doing... Of course I knew my sisters' work, her work was always good but this was so spectacular.
"Sorry I-i came late, Mabel was um helping me and stuff so yeah." Y/N giggles nervously. I love that giggle.
"Oh you know, it's cool and hey, the Gruncles said we could go! But um c-can I go ch-change?" I asked.
"S-sure." I ran upstairs. I'm so gonna make this night count.
