The Panda's Tale

Once upon a time there was a naive little panda named Vincent Pickles the First.
Vincent Pickles the First was born in the bamboo fields of Japan and had lived there his whole life.
He had grown up happily amongst all the other pandas of the field and he never even thought there was anything more to life outside the forest.  All the other pandas looked up to the Pickles family because they were the best pandas.  Nobody ever knew why this was but life was happy in the panda kingdom so no one bothered to ask.Because of this fact the other pandas always treated Vincent Pickles the First as if he was different.But he didn't mind, he had never known any different life and he was happy with his life in the panda kingdom. However, sometimes Vincent Pickles the First couldn't help but feel a little bit lonely.Even though he was constantly surrounded by other pandas he never felt as if he could really relate to them. He watched as the other pandas laughed about panda politicians and had deep conversations about panda society and its morals and wished that he could join them.Vincent Pickles the First knew that he was clever enough to joke about panda politicians and he knew he was smart enough to present his own point of view on panda morals but he still felt as if he wouldn't be good enough for the other pandas.The only place he really felt welcomed was around the panda dinner table with his panda family eating panda food.There he let his heart soar like a panda butterfly and he let his innermost thoughts spill out of his mouth like panda soup. Sure he was happy amongst the other pandas, but only when he was amongst the pickles did he truly feel alive.One day Vincent Pickles the First was wandering through the bamboo when he spotted the council of important pandas having an important panda meeting. Vincent Pickles the First was aware of how much trouble he would get into if he watched the meeting but the temptation was too much. He silently hid behind the bamboo in hopes of being the first to know about all the panda politics.
He was shocked to hear the Pickles family name mentioned, although they were important pandas, they were not political pandas.
The politicians were proposing that the Pickles' were becoming too powerful and that they should be banned from the bamboo fields for all of eternity!  Vincent Pickles the First was understandably shocked and he quickly ran home to tell his family only to find that  they were already being taken away by the panda police.He stood in a shocked silence as his whole entire family was taken away one by one. The panda news team was there covering the whole event and all of the other pandas were watching with a malicious satisfaction. Vincent Pickles the first wanted to stay something, but he remained silent out of fear. He began to realize that because he was so quiet around the other pandas they wouldn't notice his presence if he chose not to defend his family.  This idea sickened him so much that he knew he had to say something. And when he did he was thrown out with the others. However, he soon discovered that the outside world was full of like-minded pandas. Deep down he knew how lonely he would have been if he remained silent and he couldn't help but smile when he realized how happy he was that he remained loyal to himself and took a risk.
