Chapter 5

* a week or so later*

I walked hand and hand up my driveway with Harry who'd kindly offered to carry my school bag for me after I got upset from failing my chemistry exam. I didn't get it! I was usually so good at school,numbers,letters,everything! But recently I'd been falling down hill on my school work and focusing more on my relationship I guess.

I went to turn my key into the lock when in Jammed in between the metal,odd?

"What's wrong?" Harry leant forward.

"It's stuck" I rammed my hand violently into the key hole.

"There's another key in the lock,on the inside" Harry panicked me.

Suddenly the front door flung open to reveal ,thankfully not a burglar, but my mother. However I'd rather right now it was a burglar!

"M-mum? I thought you weren't supposed to be back for anger few days" I stuttered trying to hide Harry but his figure toward over me from behind.

"Yes well me and your father made a last minute change because of your recent behaviour!" She snapped at me.

"What do mean?" I sulked gutted at their arrival.

"Who is the boy Jessica ?" She snarled at me as she trotted off down the hallway,i followed her leaving Harry just inside the front door. What was wrong with her?

"Harry,my erm b-boyfriend" I finally managed to spit out ,nervous to tell her.

She stood still In her tracks then slowly span around to face me and harry despite that he was standing from a distance.

"No Callum is your boyfriend Jess,he's a lovely young boy!" She snapped yet again at me.

"No he's isnt mum,we broke up last week" I hung my head knowing shed be disappointed in me for moving on so quick.

"Can he leave Jessica? I need to talk to you!" She gritted her teeth leaving the room so I could share my goodbyes with Harry.

"I'm sorry Harry,ill ring you later!" I swung in for a quick hug and give him a quick peck on The cheek causing me to giggle out loud.

"It's fine babe! Most mothers tend not to like me at first" he winked at me after kissing me back which left a huge smile smacked across my face. Harry quickly made his way down the driveway and into his car before speeding of down the road out of sight. Finally I plucked up the courage to join my mum in the kitchen. I knew she was going to split me and Harry up. Thankfully her and my dad were always at work!

"Where's dad?" I Broke the silence that lurked around the room.

"Work" she mumbled sitting me down opposite her at the dinning room table before carrying on ," I'm very disappointed in you Jess! A house party? Which resulted in the police arriving? A new boyfriend,Who has tattoos ? Failing in school? What's going on jess? She growled at me,thankfully she only saw one visible tattoo that was inked onto Harry.

"First of all The house part wasn't me, secondly Harry is very sweet and I really like him! And finally I failed one test In school today because Iv been focusing on more important things!" I snapped out all in one breath.

"It's the boy isn't it!" Her beady eyes lay into mine sending shivers down my spine.

"The boy has a name and no it's not Harry!" I shot her a sarcastic smirk. "Can I leave?" I added already halfway to the door.

"If you promise never to see Harry again?" She puffed out actually expecting me to saying 'okay then mum,whatever you say!'

"No!" I sprinted out the room as fast as my legs could take me up the stairs and into my bedroom ,locking the door instantly behind me making sure I would be left alone. I quickly pulled out my phone and dialled Harry's number he instantly answered after just two tones had vibrated through my ear.
