The glaring sun shone down on me and my bestfriend Marley, Marley was one of the most amazing people I'd ever met! She was so kind and caring, she would take a bullet for anyone, we strode along the beach front eating away at our ice creams,it was three years since I'd moved and it was by far the best thing Id ever done!

"How good is the weather today?" Her strong American accent spoke out as we walked down onto the hot sand and found ourself a nice comfortable spot along the busy beach.

"Fab!" I laughed.

"I wa just thinking you know Jess you've changed so much since you arrived here, you honestly look like a totally different person! Even more drop dead gorgeous!" She sweetly babbled on,I had to agree with Marley. Not so much on the drop deal gorgeous part but I defiantly was doing well for myself.

"Thanks Marles!" I giggled. Marley was the first friend I'd made after landing here. She was in my collage classes and we got on so well it was scary, thankfully I'd now finished collage and was a part time nurse in a large local children's hospital.Id always planned on being a nurse partly because my parents had pushed me to follow in their foot steps but they didn't care for children in and out of the hospital,I couldn't not!

I thankfully no longer spoke to my parents allowing my auntie who I live with as well as her Husband David but he was never in,he was some rich business man who worked away in Dubai however still treated my Auntie Francesca like a princess not forgetting her son Charlie who was around three ,charlie was practically my baby brother,I loved him so much it sometimes hurt! Francesca was quite young for an auntie however she was born 16 years accidentally after my mum,she didn't get on with her ether my so called mother wasn't the reason she moved to though,David was. The pair of them met each other many years back now in London at some night club event David was opening and hey fell hard for one an other!

Not long after my arrival Francesca become my legal guardian after my mother rang up claiming she wanted no more to do with me seen as id snook of to California, however that was only until I was 18,with me now being 19 I'm free to do my own thing ,when and whenever I want despite the fact I always all ready done that with my aunt being so laid back.

"When does your shift start tonight?" Marley asked me as she fanned herself with her hand.

"I'm off till Wednesday!" I happily replied relived to take a break from work for once! I'd been working at the local hospital for almost a year now and boy was it exhausting!

"Great! We need a good long catch up" she puffed out. Suddenly out of no where a small blonde haired, blue eyed adorable toddler ran up to us out of no where

"Hello gorgeous!Whats your name?" I squeaked at her in a stupid voice causing her to collapse in the sand in front of us giggling.

"L-lux" she mumbled sticking her tiny fingers in her mouth.

"Lux where are you?!" I herd someone scream from in the distance down the beach.

"Should we take you back to your mummy?" I took the adorable girl by her small hands and guided her down the beach towards a young stressful women who was on the verge of tears running frantically back and forth kicking lose grains of sand as she went.

"Excuse me ,I think I found your gorgeous little girl!" I pinched Luxs nose making her giggle even more. Her mothers neck almost snapped she turned it that quick to face us.

"Lux!" She screamed with Happiness swopping lux up of the ground and holding her tighter than ever in her arms. I couldn't help but notice the women was English ,I hated running into English over here I always worried if they used to know me. I didn't want anymore to know me from the UK not since I'd started up knew here. What if she asks my name? I started to panic. "Thank you so much love!" She leapt up and hugged me extremely tight!
